(Clearwisdom.net) During July of this year (2010) in Shitun Village, Laohutun Town, Wafangdian County, Dalian City, Qu Changbo, the director of village security, harassed Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Hongyan at her home. Qu Changbo tried to force her to write a guarantee statement promising to stop practicing Falun Dafa. Two days later, Qu Changbo, Qu Changji (Party secretary of Shitun Village), Wu Anqiang (a member of the General Management Office of Laohutun Town), and two others broke into Ms. Zhang's home and once again tried to force her to sign the statement. They said, "If you don't sign, we'll make your husband's work supervisor fire him, and he'll be re-hired only after you have signed the guarantee statement. We'll also tell the students at your child's school to swear at and abuse your children, so they will be too embarrassed to go to school."
These corrupt government officials have harassed Ms. Zhang Hongyan a total of five times.
In Sanshilibao Village, Laohutun Town, Zhang Si, the director of village security, went to Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhao Wanxian's home to try to force him to write and sign the guarantee statements. Zhang Si threatened to take the practitioner to a brainwashing center if he refused to write the statements. Zhang Si also went to Mr. Zhao's brother's home and told him, "If you don't make your brother sign the statements, you and he will both be arrested." A few days later, Wu Anqiang, Zhang Si, and two other people went to Mr. Zhao's home to again try to force him to sign. During the month of July the rest of the practitioners in Laohutun Town were harassed as well.
From May to July 2010, with instructions from the Politics and Laws Committee and the Office of Stability Maintenance, also know as the 610 Office of Wafangdian County, some government officials from the county and townships harassed and arrested local practitioners.
At 7 o'clock (according to the Chinese article) on May 27, 2010, Qu Shengyang, the director of the General Management Office in Xiyang Town; Liu Renzhou, the deputy mayor of the town; and ten others broke into practitioner Ms. Ni Cuixia's home. They showed no ID, and said that they just needed her to go with them to get some information. The next day, Ms. Ni's husband and daughter went to town to pick her up, but Qu Shengyang said, "We lied to you," Ni Cuixia has been sent to the Fushun Brainwashing Center. Qu then tried to extricate himself by saying that he had to follow orders from the 610 Office, which is under the Politics and Laws Committee of the Wafangdian County government.
On the morning of June 30, 2010, three members of the Office of General Management in Fuzhoucheng Town went to practitioner Ms. Chen Lirong's home in Ganghou Village, Fuzhoucheng Town. They first tried to take her to the local government office to sign some documents, but she refused. When one of the men tried to take her by force, she managed to avoid being taken.
After that Ms. Chen's home was constantly watched. Due to the harassment, she left home and is now homeless.
On the morning of June 30, 2010, personnel from the 610 Office of the Wafangdian County government, the Security Group of Wafangdian Police Station, and the Office of General Management in Fuzhoucheng Town, arrested practitioner Li Wanzhen, who was a teacher at Zhenhai Elementary School in Fuzhoucheng Town. The teachers at the school were told not to tell anyone about the illegal arrest. Li Wanzhen is still being persecuted at Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun City.
