(Clearwisdom.net) I have studied Teacher's new lecture "Be More Diligent" again and again while looking inward at the same time. Below are my experiences and enlightenment from studying the new lecture.
1. Don't Interpret the Fa from Human Perspectives
After studying the new lecture, my most outstanding feeling is that we must not try to understand the Fa from human perspectives because a human mindset cannot understand the Fa.
Teacher talked about the reason why project coordinators and leaders should not be changed. Who would think of the reason if Teacher had not told us? Changing a project coordinator or leader is related to such profound factors in the cosmos. I deeply feel that the Fa has great profound meaning and the Fa can never be comprehended with a human mindset.
Only when we let go of all human notions when we study the Fa, can the divine beings behind the Fa enlighten us to the Fa that is supposed to be known at our current cultivation levels. Teacher has talked about the Fa many times in the past.
2. Advance Despite the Difficulties, Never Give Up Halfway
Although Teacher's lecture about project coordinators being immutable was directly meant for practitioners outside of China, I think the Fa is connected. I think to myself, "Various projects carried out by practitioners in China to save sentient beings should not be given up halfway. Nor should we retreat in the face of difficulties." For many many years, whenever the CCP tightened its policy of persecuting practitioners and even at sensitive times, some practitioners started to think simultaneously, "The overall condition has been getting harsh recently. We have to refrain from distributing Falun Gong materials for some time." This mindset has allowed a tremendous loophole to develop which has then been taken advantage of by the evil. These so-called sensitive times or harsh conditions are exactly when the evil is going rampant and they are also exactly when we practitioners need to step up our efforts to focus directly to eliminate the evil. We should do even better facing the harsh conditions, not halt our forward steps or give way to the evil. If we stop our truth clarification efforts whenever the evil becomes rampant and out of control, isn't this equivalent to being stunned and suppressed by the evil?
3. Be Steadfast in Believing in Teacher and the Fa
It is a clear consensus for practitioners that we must do what Teacher tells us to do. However, I think practitioners are not very clear about the point that whatever Teacher tells us to do is achievable. Attachments to fear, over-concern, and looking outward instead of inward are all manifestations of the lack of confidence and belief in Teacher and the Fa.
In China, there are a lot of young practitioners who have gotten farther and farther away from the Fa and have become lost in the human world due to their parents being arrested, their homes ransacked, and themselves being pressured by the authorities. My child is one of these young practitioners. In the process of helping him, my goal downgraded from hoping he could achieve enlightenment and return home with Teacher to hoping he could become a human being in the new era of the human world and avoid the fate of being eliminated. In the end, I settled with the notion that my child might be eliminated just like other human beings. I retreated step by step when faced with the interference and sabotage of the evil.
Since studying the new lecture, I have been thinking, "Isn't that equal to giving up halfway in the face of difficulty when I settled with the possibility that my child could be eliminated?" I did not do well in this aspect because of my heavy attachment to human sentiment and to my child. I was subconsciously trying to use human methods to get my child to come back to practicing, such as rewarding his good behavior, punishing his bad behavior, persuading him with human sentiment, etc. I did not rely on the power of the Fa and I did not have righteous thoughts. The evil has been watching all practitioners all the time and it will try to interfere and defeat us by taking advantage of our human notions and attachments, to achieve the goal of corrupting and destroying young practitioners. However, we are giving in to the evil subconsciously because we are attached to human notions. We won't be able to solve a problem if we move away from the Fa and from the broad path that Teacher has opened and arranged for us.
