(Clearwisdom.net) A series of introductory classes in Falun Gong were presented in the Kaohsiung County Civil Academy, Taiwan. Sessions were held at Chiaotou High School, Gangshan High School and Luchu High School, respectively. The session at Chiaotou High School started on September 7 and is held every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Free teaching of the practice along with a multimedia presentation helps beginners to learn Falun Gong.
Practitioners shared their experiences of practicing Falun Gong. Ms. Wu told about how she had stomach cancer before she started to learn Falun Gong. When she went to the hospital for an examination some time after she started to practice, the doctors were surprised that her illness was improved considerably. Ms. Wu, in her 60s, looks much younger than she actually is.
Ms. Cai was ill and could not fall asleep at night due to coughing. After practicing Falun Gong, she recovered from her cough. Her character has changed for the better as well. Her husband witnessed all of this firsthand.
Mr. Chian has practiced near ten years. He used to exercise by running and swimming, but he had various minor illnesses and also had asthma. After practicing Falun Gong, he became healthy and has not taken any medicine for ten years.
The session participants wondered why the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes such a good practice.
Practitioner Mr. Chen explained that Falun Gong spread widely in China and was welcomed and received awards. The former CCP head Jiang Zemin initiated the persecution out of jealousy and defamed Falun Gong using the state media. The movie "False Fire," which exposes the CCP-staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident, was shown in the class.
The session host told the class, "Learning Falun Gong makes one calm and helps elevate your heart and mind, raise your morality and helps in obtaining a healthy body. The five sets of exercises are easy to learn. Falun Gong has benefited more than one hundred million people. We welcome everyone to learn."
