(Clearwisdom.net) After the New Year, various publishing companies in China released new editions of textbooks for middle and primary schools, including Morality and Society, Ideological Cultivation, Ideology and Politics, and Politics and Life, in which the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) slanders Falun Gong. They also added the staged "Tiananmen Square Self-immolation" incident to spread rancorous seeds among innocent children.
Take for example Morality and Society, which is published by the People's Education Press for the Sixth Grade in Guangdong Province. The entire sixth and seventh pages of Volume One are filled with articles and pictures that slander Falun Gong. Actually, the previous edition had a smaller amount of similar content. While the edition this year used a long article to describe the staged incident in detail, and also added a "new picture." In this picture, a nurse was taking care of Liu Siying, and a reporter from CCTV's "Focal Point" program with a microphone is interviewing the patient. Compared with the previous version of the same picture, Liu Siying was no longer covered everywhere, and parts of her body and hands were bare. This was probably changed because the CCP wants to minimize public disbelief about authenticity of the former photo, where the burn patient was completely bandaged, a treatment which is not common for burn victims.
The film "False Fire," which was made by NTDTV to examine the suspicious points of this "Self-immolation" incident, won an award at the 51st Columbia University International Film Festival on November 8, 2003. The film analyzed and exposed this tragic event well, and showed that the "Self-immolation" incident was staged by the Chinese government.
The CCP brainwashes the Chinese people beginning when they are very young. In middle and primary schools, the information is strictly controlled, as children are just beginning their learning phase. The CCP blocks the truth about Falun Gong, and spreads lies to poison the minds of these children.
