(Clearwisdom.net) Five undercover police officers from the Shangjieji Police Station drove to the house of Mr. Yuan Yulong from Zhongsheng Village, Shangjieji Township, Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province, at about 3:30 p.m. on December 21, 2010. As soon as they walked into the house, they started interrogating him: “Is Falun Gong good or bad? Do you still want to practice it or not? Where are your son and daughter-in-law?” They placed Mr. Yuan's Falun Gong books on the table and started recording them with a video camera. They also called Shen Jingyuan, head of the Domestic Security Bureau, to come with another five officers to ransack Mr. Yuan's house. The officers confiscated his notebook computer, an inkjet printer, three MP3 players, two cell phones, some truth-clarification materials and Falun Gong books.
After arresting Mr. Yuan, the police went to illegally arrest his son Mr. Yuan Shoujiang and daughter-in-law Ms. Gong Jinfen, who were visiting Ms. Gong's seriously ill father at home. The police stayed at Mr. Yuan's house from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., even though no one was home after the arrest.
The undercover police officers who made the arrest included captain Zhang Fucai, Zhao Wu, Wang Zhongyin, and Zou Benke—all from the Shangjieji Police Station—and Shen Jingyuan from the Domestic Security Bureau in Fujin County, Heilongjiang Province.
Mr. Yuan, his son and his daughter-in-law were held in the Fujin Public Security Bureau the night they were arrested. They were handcuffed and interrogated until 11:00 p.m. They are currently being held at the Fujin Detention Center.
Over the past month, the 610 Office in Fujin City colluded with the city's Political and Law Committee to harass local Falun Gong practitioners in their workplaces, attempting to force them to renounce Falun Gong and to sign the three guarantees to give up their faith.
Parties involved in the persecution:
Captain Zhang Fucai, Shangjieji Police Station: 86-54-2330919 (Home), 86-13945448919 (Cell)
