(Clearwisdom.net) On September 2, 2011, Chengxi Industrial Zone Police Station head Yang Hongbin and a several officers broke into the home of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Gao Zen in Xipengliu Village, Cheng'an Town. They arrested him and took him to the Cheng'an County Detention Center. He was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor on October 9. Mr. Gao is presently in the Handan Forced Labor Camp.
According to an insider, Mr. Gao was beaten after he was taken to the police station. Cheng'an County Domestic Security Division head Liu Jinjie and others threatened and interrogated him when he was held the Cheng'an County Detention Center. Liu Jinjie took Mr. Gao to the Handan Forced Labor Camp without informing his family.
Mr. Gao, 30, also works in interior design. His arrest and detention hit his mother, wife, and children very hard. His family went to the Chengxi Industrial Zone Police Station, Yang Hongbin's home, Cheng'an County Domestic Security Division, and the county 610 Office to demand his release. The police threatened them, saying that, although Mr. Gao had been sentenced to one year of forced labor, his term would be changed to three years because they claimed his family “made trouble” at the police station and “harassed” Yang Hongbin at home.
