(Clearwisdom.net) Jiujiang City's Forced Labor Committee recently sentenced Mr. Cao Dazhang to one and a half years of forced labor. Mr. Cao's wife, Ms. Zhang Ailing, filed a lawsuit against the Duchang County 610 Office and Domestic Security Division's legal representatives and revealed the fact that they had used torture to collect “evidence” from two elderly women, Ms. Shen Rongxiang and Ms. Shao Huanyun.
On August 8, 2011, Duchang County 610 Office agents arrested Ms. Shen Rongxiang and Ms. Shao Huanyun. They used torture to interrogate these elderly Falun Gong practitioners. When the two women were confused and exhausted, the agents tricked them into providing “evidence” and then arrested Mr. Cao based on the ill-gotten testimonies.
The Jiujiang City Forced Labor Committee gave Mr. Cao an 18-month forced labor term. He was charged with “undermining the implementation of the law.” The reason for persecuting Mr. Cao was that he “installed a satellite receiver and often browsed the Minghui website,” among others.
The 610 Office agents are trying to seize two other practitioners, Ms. Liu Qiusheng and Ms. Cao Jinzhen, who have had to live away from home to avoid arrest.
Not long ago, Ms. Shen Rongxiang and Ms. Shao Huanyun wrote a solemn statement to the Duchang County 610 Office, saying that their oral testimonies were made as a result of torture and were therefore null and void. They strongly protested the 610 Office agents securing confessions using violence and torture. This prompted Ms. Cao's wife, Ms. Zhang Aizhen, to lodge a lawsuit against the Duchang County 610 Office and Domestic Security Division legal representatives Chen Zhengchu, Hong Liu, and Tan Xinmin.
