(Clearwisdom.net) At 11 p.m. on October 10, 2011, a group of police officers and agents of the 610 Office broke into Ms. Yang Jingli's home and arrested her. Currently Ms. Yang is being illegally detained in the Post (Youzheng) Hotel in Taipusiqi.
The 610 Office holds many brainwashing sessions. In the name of “legal education,” the 610 Office agents seize and torture Falun Gong practitioners during brainwashing.
Those who arrested Ms. Yang were from the Domestic Security Brigade of the Taipusiqi Public Security Bureau, the Taipusiqi 610 Office, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region 610 Office, and the Xilinhaote City Public Security Bureau. They claimed that they would “make Yang Jingli renounce Falun Gong from the bottom of her heart.”
Before she practiced Falun Gong, Ms. Yang suffered a lot, especially with gynecological problems. Even her husband, who was a medical doctor, could not do anything to help her. Her ailments disappeared after she started practicing Falun Dafa. Her physical and mental wellness improved greatly. She was willing to help others and was a forgiving person wherever she went.
Ms. Yang used to be the chair of the Education System Union in Taipusiqi, Inner Mongolia. Many people respected her because she lived by the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.
After the Chinese regime launched the persecution on July 20, 1999, the police and government officials frequently harassed, arrested, and locked her up.
On December 30, 2004, Ms. Yang went to the Inner Mongolia Womens' Forced Labor Camp to visit several Falun Gong practitioners. She went with the practitioners' family members to bring food and clothes. The staff in the camp refused to let them visit and told them to come back the next day. The next day, while Ms. Yang and the practitioners' families were waiting at the camp entrance, about a dozen plainclothes police surrounded them, yelling, “Show us your belongings if you want to see anyone.” The police, without giving an explanation, started searching them and handcuffing them. Ms. Yang and the families resisted. Although Ms. Yang was in her 70s, the police pulled up her jacket and wrapped it wound her head. The collar button was choking her. The police held her on the ground after beating and kicking her. She passed out immediately for lack of air. The practitioners' family members were also brutally beaten.
The weather was bitter cold and they were forced to take off their clothes and shoes to be “inspected.” They were taken to the Public Security Bureau of Inner Mongolia in a prison van and interrogated. Afterward, they were taken to the Inner Mongolia Detention Center and beaten. In the end, they were transferred overnight to Xilinhaote City and held in a prison. Ms. Yang was vomiting and shivering the entire time. Still, she was put in solitary confinement and tortured.
The police extorted close to US$1500 from Ms. Yang's family, saying that it was because she refused to give up practicing Falun Dafa. Her family, fearing that Ms. Yang might be killed, bribed the police with a lot of wine and got Ms. Yang released.
From then on, police and agents from the Xilinhaote City Domestic Security Brigade, the 610 Office, and the Taiqi City Domestic Security Bureau have been constantly harassing and threatening Ms. Yang. Her husband is haunted and terrified everyday, and her son cannot live his life in peace.
