(Clearwisdom.net) In the 9th Prison Zone of Liaoning Women's Prison, guards instigated criminal inmate Meng Xianqiu and others to persecute Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Yuerong. Meng Xianqiu, a former employee of Dalian Airplane Factory, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for bribery and corruption. The guards promised to reduce her prison term so as to entice her to brutally persecute practitioners.
On the second day of Ms. Chen Yuerong's incarceration, Meng Xianqiu, along with other inmates, immediately began torturing her by continuously slapping her in the face. Then, they punched her in the chest area. As a result, Ms. Chen couldn't breathe for quite a while.
The guards locked Ms. Chen in a small cell after she was severely beaten. In the cell, Ms. Chen could only squat and both of her hands were fastened to an iron pipe so that she couldn't move. Furthermore, she was not allowed to eat or use the restroom. She was tortured this way for two days straight. The guards used this brutal torture to try to force her to write a guarantee statement, but to no avail. When they failed to “transform” her with the solitary confinement torture, they locked her in a cold room during the winter, wearing only thin clothes. They also poured cold water on her.

Other inmates involved in persecuting practitioners are Dou Guizhen, Zhang Hongqi and Li Shuying. Dou uses brutal means to torture practitioners and Zhang, a murderer, is cruel and violent. Once, she put a used tampon in Ms. Song Yaping’s mouth. Li Shuying does not participate in the physical beatings, but is involved in plotting the vicious tortures for other inmates to carry out on practitioners.
Practitioner Ms. Ding Zhenfang in the 9th Prison Zone was severely tortured. She went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was consequently brutally forced-fed. The repeated forced-feedings caused her to be very weak and her stomach to ulcerate. She was in critical condition. She was secretly transferred and it is not known whether she is still alive.
