(Clearwisdom.net) I get along very well with my neighbors. When I got New Year's calendars and Shen Yun DVDs, I would give one to each neighboring family. One family did not want to listen to me talk about Falun Gong, but once their child was sick, and I visited them. I did not bring a gift, but I told the child to say “Falun Dafa is good.” The wife was moved by my sincerity and agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for each family member. The child always calls me “Grandma.” My grandson learned Taekwondo at a local Taekwondo school. When I was waiting for him, I always cleared away the snow and put away the shoes. I looked for seats for the elderly. When the class was over, I would put away the chairs. My grandson did the same. Later, all the parents waiting for their kids did, too. Some people said, “This grandma is such a good person. She looks younger than she actually is. She is in good health.” “She is not an ordinary person. She practices Falun Gong. All Falun Gong practitioners are good.”

Greetings, Master! Greetings, fellow practitioners!

I am so fortunate to have obtained Falun Dafa. I am also very fortunate to be a Falun Dafa disciple during the Fa-rectification period. To assist Master in rectifying the Fa is my biggest honor. I have practiced Falun Dafa for more than ten years. Along the way, I have made mistakes. Thanks to Master's benevolence and the power of Falun Dafa, I have rectified myself. Here I would like to thank Master. After a few pitfalls during the past years, I have made up my mind that I will hold Master's hand tightly, listen to Master, and follow Master to fulfill my responsibilities as a Falun Dafa disciple. I would like to share with fellow practitioners my cultivation experience.

Master has paved my cultivation and Fa-rectification path. Sometimes I did not realize it. When I failed to realize it, I was not very qualified at that level to walk my own path. Master mentioned long ago that, in China, truth-clarification material production sites should be established everywhere. Back in 2005, I already had a computer at home. However, due to my fear, I did not learn how to use it, saying that computers were only for the youth and perverted beings. I thought to myself, “There is a material production site nearby, so I do not need to bother to learn the computer.” By studying the Fa with fellow practitioners, I was enlightened that my avoidance of computers was due to my attachment of fear and human notions. I realized that, as a Falun Dafa disciple, I should browse the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom). How could I get access to Minghui without knowing how to use a computer?

My grandson wanted to watch animations, so he pushed me to learn how to start the computer and search for animations and Tang poems. A fellow practitioner told me that a middle-school child could install the Freegate software, so I was determined to browse the Minghui website. I first asked my daughter and son-in-law, my nephew, and then other practitioners who had already installed the software. However, due to my lack of basic knowledge of computers, I did not ask the right questions, so no one understood what I was asking. Back then, there were not many practitioners who knew how to use computers, so I asked Master to help me. Then I inserted the CD-ROM into the computer. It took me more than three hours. I had no clue what happened, and only saw there were already a dozen installed Freegate software programs on one of the hard disks. I did not know which one was ready to use, so I asked Master to help me again: “Master, please delete the ones that are not usable.” I did not know how to delete programs on computers, so I tried the right click. It worked. The duplicate copies of the program were deleted immediately, with the last not able to be deleted. I clicked it, and I overrode the Internet censorship. I found the Minghui website and saw Master's photo. Master was in sitting meditation, observing the human world in peace. I was very happy and at peace. I felt like I was back home, a home both familiar and strange.

During the next few days, I could read articles on Minghui and look at Master's photo every day. However, this did not last long. After a few days, I could not open the link anymore. I asked about it and found out from a fellow practitioner that the software needed to be upgraded. During the previous few days, the software had already been upgraded several times, and it was a miracle that I could use it for a few days without any problem. I later learned from a practitioner how to upgrade the software automatically and download other software. I also learned the basics of computer skills. But I did not set up a material production site, since I was afraid that my husband would not understand why I would do such a thing. I only used it to upload the names I had collected of people that wanted to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I also learned how to type. Gradually, I could type short articles, and then I could help other practitioners to upload the names of people who had quit the CCP. When I became more familiar with the computer, I started typing Fa conference sharing articles and truth-clarification letters. With Master's strengthening, I could finish the tasks on time. Due to safety concerns, I bought a used laptop especially for Dafa use.

Early this year, a practitioner at a material production site was arrested. The police threatened to arrest her husband, who was also a practitioner. I discussed this with her husband based on Fa principles and looked within. He was happy to take my advice. A few days later, I heard from other practitioners that this couple did not study the Fa well and had a strong attachment to doing things but did not look within, so I decided to share with him again. Then another practitioner told me that there was a practitioner who had started to fall down as she walked. Quite a few practitioners went to share with her, which disturbed her so much that she could not study the Fa calmly. I suddenly realized that I was doing the same thing. The practitioner who was arrested was very busy, since we all depended on her to get truth-clarification materials. So she did not have time to study the Fa well. Her husband was an expert on computers, so we always asked him to help us. He was always ready to help us, so we took it granted that he would come help us whenever we asked. Even so, he did not have a single word of complaint. Due to our dependence on the couple, they did not have time to study the Fa and do the exercises. So they were persecuted by the evil and always felt tired. If we could have been more considerate and less dependent, they would not have had the strong attachment to doing things. It is also true that they had their own attachments that they needed to get rid of. However, Master said a long time ago that truth-clarification material production sites should blossom everywhere. Why couldn't I move a step forward? Why was I still waiting for other practitioners? It was the attachment to comfort and fear that prevented me from stepping forward. It was a selfish motive for self-protection.

It reminded me of an article on Minghui years ago. It said that the local police wanted to search for truth-clarification material production sites, so all the practitioners in the area bought computers, which stymied the authorities. When I was enlightened to it, I asked a fellow practitioner to buy a printer for me, and I started a material production site at my home. I shared the responsibilities with other practitioners, which relieved them of some pressure. We had a team of practitioners working on sending out truth-clarification mailers. I drafted the letters based on templates from Minghui websites. I prepared materials, such as pamphlets and Minghui Weekly, for myself to distribute as well as materials for other practitioners. My material production site played a significant role in intimidating the evil forces. Through the process I got rid of my attachment of fear, dependence on other practitioners, and attachment to comfort. When I upgraded myself, my family members were more supportive than before, and they had a good attitude towards Falun Dafa.

When I first started practicing Falun Gong, my husband was strongly against it. I was in a detention center and labor camp several times, which implicated him. He did not understand me, so there was a lot of trouble at home. I then realized that I needed to cultivate myself. So I rectified myself in the Fa, which caused changes in him, too. He became supportive. When I brought the printer home, he was not against it at all. Instead of complaining about the money I had spent on the printer, he was actually proud of me. He emptied a cupboard especially for the materials. When I worked on materials, he would do the cooking and cleaning and take care of our grandson. Once when I was working on producing materials, he went out with my grandson. When they came back, he told my grandson, “Don't knock on the door. Let's open the door by ourselves, so Grandma will know it is us coming back.” Sometimes, he went out with me to distribute materials and post fliers. My computer and printer worked very well—they were like my obedient children.

Thanks to Master's arrangement and attention, my cultivation path has been smooth and calm. But I regret that I elevated so slowly. I feel like I am a little flower, but no matter how small I am, I have been enriched and glow brightly. No matter what color the flower is, it coordinates well with other flowers to form a beautiful bouquet.

Fulfilling My Vows to Save Sentient Beings

To rectify the Fa and to save sentient beings are the vows I made during my previous lives. What Master has left to us now is a precious time for us to save sentient beings and cultivate into a selfless enlightened being. Master said that sentient beings are here to wait for Falun Dafa, and many of them used to be historical figures. Some of them are even kings from other cosmic bodies. They are here to wait for Falun Dafa. If we save one person, we will save his or her immense universe and sentient beings. The old forces have exerted all their strength to keep us from saving sentient beings. We are competing with them every minute and every second to save sentient beings. Our cultivation will reach consummation by doing the three things well.

Over the past few years, I have continued to write truth-clarification letters, distribute fliers on Falun Gong, and talk to people face-to-face on Falun Gong issues. I have joined a group that uses mobile phones to clarify the truth. I have found that, as long as we have the heart to save sentient beings, Master will make arrangements for us to meet people and talk about Falun Gong. I knew a couple who moved to another city. I always thought about them. One day, I was thinking of them again and said to myself, “If I run into them, I will definitely let them know the truth about Falun Gong.” The next day, I met them at that very spot and at the same time. They told me that they had come back to visit relatives, and, after meeting all their relatives, they did not know what else to do. I knew it was Master's arrangement, so I greeted them and talked to them about Falun Gong. They readily agreed to quit the CCP. There are many other examples where I've unexpectedly met people I had been thinking about trying to save.

My hometown is very far away from where I currently live, so I only get the chance to visit briefly during holidays. I always wanted to go back and clarify the truth to my neighbors. This year, my godfather passed away. He did not have a daughter, so my godmother ordered me back to attend his funeral. I stayed for a few days. I knew it was Master's arrangement. I brought with me a few amulets(1) and a stack of truth-clarification fans. I met my classmates, teachers, childhood friends, former neighbors, relatives, and government officials within my 24-hour stay. I took advantage of this great opportunity to clarify the truth to them.

It was summer, and it was hot in the evening. So after dinner, many residents went outdoors. They listened to a musical band to kill time. I would bring out with me a stack of fans that read “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Good.” I said to them, “Hi, everyone. Please come get a fan. I was a local resident here. I am bringing you treasures.” So everyone competed to get one. I then held up the fan and said, “It says 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' Please remember to repeat these two sentences, and you will be blessed. Don't listen to or believe the rumors made up by the CCP. Falun Dafa is now practiced in more than 100 countries around the world.” After distributing the fans, I started talking to people one by one about Falun Gong and the importance of quitting the CCP. The next day when I went out, I saw several people holding the fans. Some followed me to ask for more fans. I talked to the Party secretary of our village about Falun Gong. Due to the limited time, he did not gain a deep understanding, so he did not agree to quit the CCP. But he promised that he would not participate in the persecution of Falun Gong. His mother was also around when I was talking to him. After listening to my truth-clarification, she said, “Falun Dafa is good.” She also told him and her nephew not to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. This time I succeeded in persuading 44 people to quit the CCP.

During the past two years, I have utilized the mobile phone platform to clarify the truth about Falun Gong, including sending text messages, making phone calls, and sending multimedia messages. I have integrated the use of mobile phones to clarity the truth into my daily life. I make phone calls or send messages whenever I have time. Now I have a smart phone, which makes explaining the truth very convenient for me. Through my personal experience, I have fully realized that sentient beings are awakening. Sometimes, people on the other end ask me to call back again or say, “Falun Dafa is good!” Sometimes, people message me back to ask for more information. If people are willing to listen or finish listening to the whole recording, I will immediately send a message to ask them to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. Once after listening to my recorded phone call, a Beijing resident messaged me back: “Thank you. Wish you success. Hope your team grows every day.”

To clarify the truth using mobile technology is very effective. Many people are willing to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations after listening to the truth-clarification phone calls. I have experienced strengthening from Master and some miracles. Sometimes, I forgot to take out the battery after using my phone to clarity the truth for a long time. Then my phone automatically powered off, which I know was Master protecting me. Once I read an article on Minghui that included a sentence used by other practitioners to clarify the truth over the phone: “Practicing Falun Gong is legal.” So I downloaded it onto my phone. However, the recorded sentence was intermittent and not clear. I believed it was a great way to tell sentient beings about Falun Gong, so I asked Master to strengthen me. With such a righteous thought, it worked perfectly with the next few dozens calls. Sometimes, I slacked off. Master then arranged fellow practitioners to remind me and encourage me to be diligent. By the New Year holidays, I had used up all the hours on my phone before the month ended. I had only bought a phone card for a month, so I had to stop my truth-clarification phone calls for the rest of the month. On Chinese New Year's Eve, I got a recorded phone call about Falun Gong. It was a long distance phone call from an unknown practitioner. Compared with this practitioner, I was lacking diligence. With the thought of taking a break during the New Year holidays, I had not continued my efforts in making truth-clarification phone calls during the holiday. I felt ashamed, so I decided to make up for the loss. I bought a new phone card and made phone calls to clarify the truth every day throughout the entire holiday.

Master said:

“So you must take sending forth righteous thoughts seriously. No matter whether you think you have the ability or not, you should do it. ” “...so each student has to truly, clearly realize what his responsibility is. “(“Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.”)

I realized that it is a Falun Dafa disciple's responsibility to send forth righteous thoughts, which we need to do to help Master to rectify the Fa. I make sure I send forth righteous thoughts four times a day. I also send forth righteous thought towards local places in the evening. Whether I am taking a bus or grocery shopping, I always send forth righteous thoughts. I spend half a day every week sending forth righteous thoughts nearby the local prison, detention center, and brainwashing center. I also join fellow practitioners in our district to send forth righteous thought at least half a day per week.

Sending forth righteous thoughts near the detention center and brainwashing center is a challenging task. However, during the past year, I have done so once a week, no matter how bad the weather. During this process, I have focused on eliminating the evil forces, coordinating with other practitioners as a whole body, and saving sentient beings as well as rescuing fellow practitioners from the detention center or brainwashing center. I have upgraded my xinxing little by little, which has influenced other practitioners to join me in sending forth righteous thoughts. With our efforts as a whole body, the evil persecution is restrained. Through our efforts, I gradually got rid of my attachment of fear, and cultivated compassion. I pitied those involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, so another practitioner and I went to talk to the head of the 610 Office brainwashing center and deputy director of the 610 Office. Before we left, I asked fellow practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts for us. I knew him very well. He was surprised that I had the courage to talk to him about it. He said, “How dare you to come to talk to me.” And then he threatened us. We smiled at him and sent forth righteous thoughts. We clarified the truth to him and explained to him why we were there. After understanding that we had come to help him, the evil expression on his face was replaced with a smile.

Minding Minor Details While Holding Great Aspirations, Rectifying the Fa in Every Thought and Every Action

Falun Dafa disciples' cultivation state is manifested in our every action. If we do a good job in our daily life, then we are rectifying the Fa. All that we have done will be left to the future. Following Master's requirement to study the Fa, I attend group study every day. I also study the Fa by myself at night and rectify myself according to Fa's principles. I do the exercises every day to change my benti and keep energetic. I hope to leave the beauty of Falun Dafa to the future and rectify the Fa in my daily thoughts and actions.

I do a good job with the housework and take good care of my grandchildren. I am never lazy and always think of others. I always keep a compassionate heart toward my family. I am optimistic. I educate the kids based on good principles. Through my daily actions, I influence my family in a good way. I never play Mahjong, nor do I watch TV. I do as much as I can and do not bother my daughter and son-in-law. I never complain about others. I do not spend hours gossiping with others. Before I practiced Falun Gong, I liked to talk a lot and tell jokes. The jokes were not vulgar, but were still not based on Fa principles. Every moment I remind myself that I am a Falun Dafa practitioner and should act and think based on Fa principles. So I speak seriously but with compassion and kindness. When I visit my friends or relatives or go out, I always dress nicely. I smile at people and behave well. If there is no chance to clarify the truth, I send forth righteous thoughts. Wherever I go, I am respected. I am welcomed by young people as a well-behaved senior and by older people as a good friend. Many people like to spend time with me. Some people tell me that they felt good when I talked to them. A neighbor praised me as being well-educated and admirable.

In my daily life, I follow Master's requirement that Falun Dafa disciples should be good in every regard. I treat my relatives with kindness, tolerance, and generosity. I treat my relatives and my husband's relatives the same. I often visit them and care for them. I never take how they treat me to heart. For example, when we moved out from the extended family to live separately, my sister-in-law took the furniture and house my mother-in-law gave to me. I did not get angry at her. Rather, I sympathized with her that she was sick all the time and that she was poor. I visited her often. When she was in the hospital this year, I gave her one thousand yuan. After finding out that she had to take medicine for three years, I gave her three to five hundred yuan every month. She was grateful, and told everyone that I treated her very well, just like her mother. She was not able to take care of herself due to her sickness, so her mother had to take care of her. I asked her to practice Falun Gong and gave her books and MP3 players. Her mother told me, “Other people told me to practice Falun Gong, but I did not take it seriously. Since you are such a good person, I trust you. I will learn Falun Dafa. I will read the book to my daughter.”

My mother-in-law is my father-in-law's second wife. I treated her very well, which was known to her relatives. In the summer, I bought some clothes for her. On the way to her home, I saw an old lady coming towards me. She immediately recognized me, “Your mother-in-law told us you are a very good daughter-in-law. I know you practice Falun Gong. I saw all the good clothes you bought for your mother-in-law. We are glad that she has you as her daughter-in-law.” I then clarified the truth to her. My father-in-law said to her, “My daughter-in-law does so much for us. Let's do what she suggested.” So all the three of them quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.

In our neighborhood, most of the neighbors have just moved in. I always say “Hi” to them enthusiastically. Whoever needs help, I am ready to help. I often mop the hallway in my building. When it rains, I move others' bikes into the hallway or cover them with a waterproof tarp. Once the light in the basement of our building went out. I bought a light and asked an electrician to install it. I paid for the public lighting in the basement. When people ask me why I do these things. I reply, “My teacher taught me to be a good person.”

On the fourth floor lived an old man, a retired Party secretary in our village. When he had just moved in, I asked him to quit the CCP, but he would not. When he was sick, I often visited him. I helped him to get things and carried his bike. So whoever he saw he would tell them that I was a good person. I gave him a copy of the Nine Commentary on the Communist Party and other truth-clarification materials. He accepted them all and agreed to quit the CCP. Sometimes, he volunteered to clean the hallway. An old lady across the hall said, “Based on my observation, your building is the cleanest. Who does the cleaning? The residents in your building are so nice.” Her daughter said to her, “That lady practices Falun Gong. She always cleans the hallway. She is one of the best people I have ever known.”

I get along well with my neighbors. Whether there are celebrations for newborns, ceremonies for marriages or funerals, I always attend to meet new people and clarify the truth to them. When someone is sick, I pay him or her a visit. Sometimes, I take other families' kids to school and bring them home. When I get New Year's calendars and Shen Yun DVDs, I give each family a copy. One family did not want to listen to me about Falun Gong. Once when their child was sick, I visited them.
