(Clearwisdom.net) Some practitioners have been persecuted in the form of a sickness demon, and have tried to “benevolently resolve” the problem by simply reciting Master's Fa on “benevolent resolution.” They did not feel much of an effect and then sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate it. The effect of eliminating it was also not good. Even when many practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts together, the effect was also not ideal. Sometimes it was effective for a time, but when the fellow practitioners left, the symptoms would return. But it could be the practitioner was suffering physically because their understanding towards “benevolent resolution” was not comprehensive, and it was done on the basis of eliminating the demon.
Those lives that have caused tribulations for one's body have been creditors in the past. It is the universal law that if one owes a debt, one must pay it. The creditors thought that their actions were right, and it has nothing to do with others. So there are some that are stubborn and want to collect this debt from you in an extreme way. In this case, the effect of a “benevolent resolution” would not be very good. Sometimes, not only one creditor comes to collect debts, but several, so one has a very severe tribulation. My current understanding is that “benevolent resolution” is a specific act that completely denies all the arrangements of the old forces. It is the merciful salvation by Master for those lives that have a direct predestined relationship with Dafa disciples. So if you want the effect of a “benevolent resolution” to be good, you should understand Master's Fa based on the Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings. You should clarify the truth to those lives that directly have predestined relationships with you and tell them why you have this resentment in your relationship, who arranged it, why it has been arranged that they come to collect their debt at this moment, what is the result of the debt collection, how merciful Master is towards them, how to arrange a benevolent resolution, and what advantages they will have. The effect will be better if you let them know about the truth and principles. If you have already clarified the truth, and they still do not stop, then the only thing you can do is “Fa rectification.” Dafa is merciful, but it has mighty power.
Everyone's understanding is different, and their way of explaining “benevolent resolutions” are not the same. However, there should be no problem if their basis is correct. I will list a method in detail for a fellow practitioner helping another practitioner in tribulation for reference.
1. First, ask the fellow practitioner in the tribulation whether he or she has some fundamental problems; if they have, the priority is to solve the fundamental problem.
2. Completely deny all the contracts that the fellow practitioner might have signed with the old forces and announce that they are void.
3. The practitioners who come to help the fellow practitioner should tell him/her to direct what they're saying to the life that is making the tribulation, telling them, “What I am saying is directed at you.”
All sentient beings have an aware side. Dafa disciples clarify the truth out of mercy, so the majority of creditors will understand and leave. However, you should clarify without pursuit and not have an attachment to the result. It could not be based on selfishness or self-validation.
There should not be many practitioners coming to help the fellow practitioner. If there are too many practitioners going to help, then the old forces might use the excuse that since so many people have been moved by him/her, and it interferes with so many people, then they should worsen the practitioner's tribulation or even make him/her pass away. Then, it might bring more unnecessary tribulations for the practitioner. Also, if more people come to help, then there will be more complicated human thoughts and more different states and methods, which might also bring about unnecessary tribulations.
