(Clearwisdom.net) Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong, Ms. Lu Guiling from Weihai City has been subjected to persecution many times. She was last arrested on November 12, 2008 and illegally sentenced to 19 years in prison. She is currently in the Shandong Province Women's Prison and is being subjected to severe physical abuse and mistreatment.
Ms. Lu was fortunate to learn Falun Dafa in August 1996. Following Master Li Hongzhi's teachings, Ms. Lu strove to become a noble person who follows the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Her family life became harmonious. Her only daughter also benefited from the teachings.
After July 20, 1999, when the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong, Ms. Lu, an ordinary farmer with the righteous thought to speak up for the practice that she had so greatly benefited from, went to the National Appeals Bureau in Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. She wished to clarify the facts about the practice and how it benefits society. Ms. Lu broke no laws, nevertheless she was illegally arrested. Ms. Lu was later arrested twice in January 2001 and in April 2004.
In order to more effectively save people who were being deceived by the CCP's lies, Ms. Lu Guiling and three other practitioners helped to intercept TV signals to clarify the truth. On January 23, 2003, they were arrested and the court officials sentenced them to 19 to 20 years, respectively. They are now in Shandong Prison and Shandong Women's Prison. While being detained, Ms. Lu held a hunger strike to protest her detention. Her life was in grave danger. She was released on bail for medical treatment on January 15, 2004. After she returned home, she recovered magically through doing the Falun Gong exercises. Ms. Lu then had to leave home to avoid further persecution.
Personnel from the Huancui District Police Department's 610 Office headed by Liu Jie broke into Ms. Lu Guiling's home, arrested her, and once again took her to the Shandong Province Women's Prison on November 12, 2008.
Ms. Lu shouted "Falun Dafa is good" again and again as soon as she entered the prison. She was placed in solitary confinement, and then sent to the Intensive Training Team, which was especially set up to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Under guards' instigation the criminal detainees use all means possible to abuse and torture practitioners.
Due to the abuse, Ms. Lu was in extremely poor health, and she was so dizzy that she was unable to do hard labor. The criminals physically and verbally abused her, pulled her hair, and force-fed her unknown drugs. In the cold winter, they took away all of Ms. Lu's clothes, only leaving her with very thin cotton clothing which was insufficient to keep her warm. Ms. Lu was only given a thin mattress. She had to sign herself as “criminal” on an application in order to get a blanket. When she refused to sign, the guards verbally abused her. They finally forced Ms. Lu to write an application for a blanket, but they still refused to give her one. Ms. Lu held a hunger strike for several months to protest the persecution. The guards dragged her across the ground, shoved her into a vehicle and sent her to a hospital for force-feeding.
Ms. Lu is still imprisoned. Her family went to visit her, but they couldn't talk freely. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is one of the topics that the prison doesn't allow one to mention. Ms. Lu's daughter's wedding day was a week before Chinese New Year's Eve, but Ms. Lu wasn't able to be present to share her daughter's happiness.
