(Clearwisdom.net) On May 14, practitioners from Austria held activities at the square in front of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, celebrating the 12th World Falun Dafa Day and the 60th birthday of Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa. St. Stephen's Cathedral is a famous tourist spot in Vienna. Practitioners sang songs and passed out flyers. Many tourists signed a petition condemning the persecution.

Clarifying the truth to tourists
Practitioners also set up truth-clarifying display boards, demonstrating the beauty of Falun Gong and its spread around the world, and exposing the brutal persecution in China. The demonstration of exercises attracted many people.
An Austrian lady viewed the boards for a long time. She told practitioners that she and her friends used to think life in China was very good; however, the bad news from China has made them disappointed with the Chinese government. She was shocked by the brutality of the persecution and asked for more Falun Gong materials.
Two Austrian students signed the petition. One of them said that they only knew about the economic developments in China, but didn't know that people have been persecuted for their beliefs.
One practitioner said: “In talking to people, I found that more and more people have a better understanding of Dafa now.”
