Xiao Wang, a Falun Gong practitioner from China, re-enacted the torture that practitioners are subjected to in China. His mother, Li Yushu, was jailed in a forced labor camp for one year in 2000 and was sentenced to 12 years in 2002 for practicing Falun Gong. She is now in the Provincial Women's Prison in Harbin, Heilongjiang. Despite being tortured, she refuses to renounce Falun Gong. Even in prison, she tries to tell other people the truth about Falun Gong.
The torture re-enactment attracted many tourists. They were shocked by the brutality of the persecution. The Ukrainians were persecuted by Stalin in the past. Many people signed the petition to condemn the persecution.
