(Clearwisdom.net) Ever since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Falun Gong practitioners from around the world have gathered at the U.S. Capitol in Washington DC each July to call for an end to the persecution. This is the 12th year they have held such annual activities.
(Clearwisdom.net) Dr. Jing Zhi, a Falun Gong practitioner in Ottawa living in the same district as Minister John Baird of Foreign Affairs, called on the minister to address the persecution of Falun Gong openly during his visit to China this month. She also asked him to request the release of all Falun Gong practitioners who are imprisoned, including twelve practitioners who have relatives in Canada.
(Clearwisdom.net) The annual two-day Independence Day celebration in the City of Carmel, Indiana is the largest celebration in the local area. On July 3-4, 2011, local Falun Gong practitioners participated in a parade and established a display to help spread information about Falun Dafa.
