The practitioners' booth attracted many tourists, and many people learned the exercises and how to fold paper lotus flowers. Practitioners set up the truth-clarifying display boards, and showed Falun Gong books. They demonstrated the exercises and passed out many truth-clarifying materials.
Rym Jaziri, a French language teacher, wearing the colors of the Belgium flag, red, yellow, and black, was very interested in learning the exercises. She was glad to run into Falun Gong, “I found something good for my joints here. The Falun Gong exercises makes my knees very comfortable. I feel strong energy and very relaxed. I like it a lot, and I will join their exercise site,” she said.
Said Daoudi, a judge from Morocco, talked to practitioners and learned about Falun Gong. He said, “I like it. It reminds me of something spiritual, including benevolence, tolerance, and friendship. It is a good way to fight evil, such as crime behaviors. We are glad to learn it today. We will tell our friends when we are back in Morocco.”
Kalsang from Tibet was happy for practitioners because they can freely practice here. “It is very good. This shows that Belgium is a free country, so that Falun Gong practitioners can do what they want. It is impossible in China.”
Many people came to learn how to fold lotus flowers. One lady made two flowers with her daughter. “It is a pleasant experience. I will put them in my daughter's room so that she will remember what she learned today,” she said.
