(Clearwisdom.net) Croatian practitioners introduced Falun Gong to people attending the second International Expo for Alternative and Healthy Living, a part of the Zagreb International Autumn Fair, on September 14-18, 2011.
The practitioners spoke to visitors about Falun Gong, explaining to them the principles of cultivating body and mind. Many visitors reacted very positively at the mention of Falun Gong's three main principles, Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. These are “exactly what everyone needs,” said one expo attendee.
Many students from Zagreb High School visited the expo. They had an assignment to do a report on what they saw at the expo. The practitioners talked to them about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution currently taking place in China. Many students were shocked to learn about the persecution and said that they would pass on the information presented on the informational flyers to others once they returned to school. Many inquired about where to learn the exercises and were pleasantly surprised to hear that Falun Gong activities are always free.
Mr. Li, who has been living in Zagreb for a while, visited the fair. He was surprised to see Falun Gong practitioners and asked if he could get a copy of Zhuan Falun in Chinese. One practitioner helped him get a copy online, and Mr. Li then immediately asked if she would read “Lunyu” together with him – he read in Chinese and the local practitioner read in Croatian. Mr. Li remarked that Zhuan Falun is a very important book. The next day he returned with his family, to show them the books and flyers about Falun Gong, as well as the paper lotus flowers that the practitioners were handing out.
Croatian practitioners were very happy to take part in the expo and to introduce Falun Gong to the public. They were especially glad to see how people from different countries deeply appreciated the universal principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.
