(Clearwisdom.net) The illegal arrest of practitioners who do technical work leads to incalculable losses for a region. The process of rescuing fellow practitioners is also a process for us to improve as one body. The persecution of fellow practitioners is largely related to our dependency on their technical skills. Our dependency will cause those practitioners who compile truth clarification materials to not look inward when facing problems; instead they rely on technical skills to solve the problems. Our dependency can even produce a sense of reverence and sentiment towards practitioners who do technical work. And these human attachments are the roots of these practitioners' tribulations. These attachments will hurt them, as many practitioners who have been seized in the country are practitioners who do technical work. Besides the personal factors of these practitioners who are persecuted, can we say it has nothing to do with those practitioners who are dependent on them?
Rescuing fellow practitioners is not only about the different rescue methods on the surface; we must also truly improve on the Fa as one body. For example, when fellow practitioners are persecuted and we send forth righteous thoughts for them, what is our starting point? Is it emotion, that we are afraid of machine problems and have no one to rely on? Or are we truly responsible for the Fa, for saving sentient beings and completely negating the arrangements of the old forces, and not allowing the evil to manipulate people to persecute Dafa practitioners? In this process we also have to eliminate all kinds of human attachments. We should focus on cultivating each thought and idea and not hold onto any bad thought, because matter and mind are one thing. The later the stage we get to, the higher the requirements. Whether we are handing out materials, clarifying the truth face-to-face, coordinating, or compiling materials, we should cultivate ourselves. If we don't cultivate well, we will wander around on the same level and face continuous interference.
My first thought after hearing that fellow practitioners were being persecuted was: “How do we handle the maintenance of machines?” I regretted that I did not learn more technical skills. Later I thought, “I cannot use all of my limited time to study technical skills.” In fact, if we operate them properly, we seldom have any problems. Often when there are problems with the machines, there are elements we need to improve on. When we encounter problems, we don't look inward but ask fellow practitioners to find solutions from the technical perspective. Quite often, after the machines are fixed, problems occur again. If this is a common phenomenon, then it will lead to practitioners' busily running around maintaining the machines and not having a good cultivation environment to study and learn the Fa by heart. We can imagine the results if we try to use human solutions for issues in cultivation.
Recently my cultivation state has been up and down. I can't get up in the morning to do the exercises, and I often miss the six o'clock global time for sending forth righteous thoughts. One day when I was printing booklets, I kept having to fix machine problems the whole night, and I was exhausted. A sentence flashed through my mind: “One cannot be everyday people doing Dafa work.” I was determined to eliminate the attachments to comfort and laziness through cultivation and disintegrate the demon of sleepiness.
One morning, my printer had a problem. I immediately rejected this as a false impression and did not allow the evil interference. I knew it was because I didn't do the sitting meditation and was taken advantage of. So I shut down the printer while sending forth righteous thoughts. After finishing the sitting meditation, I turned on the printer, and everything worked. I knew that Master helped me to solve this issue because my xinxing had improved a little. In the past, I would have been waiting for practitioners who do technical work to fix it.
While compiling materials the last two nights, I fell asleep on the couch while the printer was still working. I should have gotten up to add paper and do the exercises, but I was too sleepy due to my laziness and attachment to comfort. When I got up the next morning, I found that the power supply to one of the computers was shut off, and I could not start the computer no matter what I tried. A fellow practitioner said that the computer's motherboard was burned out. This was another example where I did not do well and was interfered with by the evil. When I went out, I sent forth righteous thoughts: “This is a false impression; the computer has not completed its mission, and now evil interference is allowed.” After reading Master's lecture “Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference,” it further strengthened my righteous thoughts. Even if I had the slightest hint of insecurity in my mind, I would eliminate it immediately. I am convinced that, by strengthening my righteous thoughts, I can eliminate any interference. Of course, during the process I also continuously look inward to rectify my shortcomings. After I returned home, I tried to start the computer, and it was back to normal. My first thought was to thank Master for letting me witness the power of righteous thoughts. I enlightened that the righteous thoughts that originate from Dafa are more important than technical skills.
It's not necessarily a bad thing to have machine problems. If we look inward and rectify ourselves, we will see improvements. We can no longer rely on practitioners who do the technical work. At least our first thought when encountering problems should be to look inward to find out where we did not do well. If we still cannot solve the problem, then we can ask practitioners who do technical work. We should pay more attention to our cultivation, study the Fa with a tranquil heart, and send righteous thoughts more often. We should not give the evil any excuse to interfere with or sabotage our efforts. The work at a materials site is different from everyday people's work. If practitioners working on a materials site don't do well and lag behind in their cultivation, it could lead to interference with machines or even cause the site to be destroyed. The loss incurred then is not just one person's matter. Therefore, we should be diligent in our cultivation in order to prevent any loss to our one body and to saving sentient beings.
