(Minghui.org) A former colleague of mine, whom I hadn't seen in a while, told me, “I've been waiting to see you to ask you about a puzzling experience I just had.”
I replied, “What experience? Tell me about it.”
He explained: “You told me, 'Whenever you find yourself in trouble, you should sincerely recite the words 'Falun Dafa is good.' Well, I didn't think much about it until just a few nights ago. I was lying in bed, unable to fall asleep because my nostrils were blocked. I think I caught a chill from my bedroom air conditioner.
“Anyway, I was tired, couldn't breathe, and was annoyed that I couldn't sleep. Then, I remembered the words you told me to say. A second after I recited them, I could breathe normally again and was able to fall asleep. So, I was waiting to see you to ask why I felt better after reciting these words.”
I laughed and said: “Think about it. Why would people repeat the phrase 'Falun Dafa is good' if miracles didn't happen when they said it? And why would they tell others to repeat these words if there was no positive effect?”
I continued: “You are a very fortunate person. Remember when I first told you about those words? You didn't accept them and even cursed Falun Dafa. At the time, I thought to myself, 'My friend needs to immediately stop cursing Falun Dafa, or else he will ruin his future for all eternity.'
“One second later, you felt sharp pain in your stomach and left the room. When you returned, the first thing you said to me was, 'I think it is wise not to say anything bad about Falun Dafa.'
“That's when I knew there was hope for you, so I repeatedly clarified the truth to you about Falun Dafa [to dispel the Chinese regime's slanderous lies] until you quit the Chinese Communist Party.”
When I finished talking, there was a moment of silence; then, we both laughed.
