Solemn Declaration
In 2010, I was reported for distributing Falun Gong informational materials. I was sentenced to three years in prison. While I was incarcerated, the guards used all sorts of methods in an attempt to “transform” me. They forced me to attend brainwashing sessions twice a week and write the so-called “understandings.” I was forced to do a lot of hard labor every day. Due to my fear and human notions, I compromised and put my fingerprint on the three statements that the monitoring personnel wrote. No Dafa practitioner should do such a thing. I let down Dafa and Teacher. I solemnly declare, “Everything I have said and done in prison to let down Dafa and Teacher are null and void. I will do more Fa study and cultivate myself. I will believe in Teacher and cultivate Dafa steadfastly.”

Solemn Declaration
I did not study Dafa well and had many attachments. After the persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, I did not cultivate myself rationally and solemnly. That is why I later wrote the guarantee statement and said things that were disrespectful to Teacher and Dafa. I solemnly declare, “Everything I have done that is disrespectful to Dafa and Master, and the guarantee statements that my family and friends wrote and signed for me are null and void. I will cultivate myself steadfastly and do the three things well.”
