(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners from San Diego, California participated in the local Chinese New Year celebration held by the Vietnamese community.
Demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises
Practitioners set up a booth at the celebration, which was held in Kearny Mesa, and hung up a large banner reading, “The World Need Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance”.
Practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on the stage, while a Western practitioner briefly introduced Falun Gong to the audience. Many people were interested in learning the practice and some asked for contact information for local exercise sites.
A staff member from a community college invited the practitioners to a health fair on their campus in April, to teach the students and faculty the exercises.
