(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Chen Xingguang, in her 60's, from Ningde City, Fujian Province was arrested at her daughter's home around 2:00 p.m. on February 29, 2012. Participating were officers from the Fujian Province Women's Forced Labor Camp and the Jiaocheng District Domestic Security Division. That same day they took Ms. Chen to the Fujian Women's Forced Labor Camp.
Ms. Chen Xingguang, former employee at Ningde City Industrial and Commercial Bank, was once illegally sentenced to five years in prison and twice subjected to forced labor, in total eight years and nine months. She was arrested at home on June 18, 2007. Officers led by head Huang Jushi from Ningde City Domestic Security Division participated. They subjected her to forced labor for two years and then extended her term. Fujian Province Women's Forced Labor Camp guards physically abused and tortured her and denied her family visitation with an excuse that she “refused to give up her belief.”
On May 4, 2010, Ms. Chen was arrested again as she spoke with people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked that same evening. Ms. Ma Cuiying was also arrested with Ms. Chen. The two practitioners were then each sentenced to one year and nine months of forced labor. They were secretly sent to Fuzhou Women's Forced Labor Camp, but their families were not notified.
Ms. Chen was subjected to severe physical abuse and torture during her detention in the forced labor camp because she refused to be “reformed.” She was placed in solitary confinement by guards Chu Xinxin, Xu Jingwei, and Huang Lei because she refused to eat breakfast one morning. While she was in solitary confinement, the guards made her wear a "straight jacket,” which is a very brutal instrument of torture. This special garment is made of thick, inflexible canvas with rubber bands under the arms so that the outfit will contract. It is so tight that no movement is possible. This form of torture is very harmful because it disrupts the proper blood flow throughout the entire body and restricts one's breathing. Ms. Chen was extremely weak due to the torture, she was released on bail six months earlier than the term imposed upon her.
On February 29, 2012, forced labor camp officers paid a visit to Ms. Chen at home, and ordered her to sign a document. Ms. Chen refused to comply. Guard He Qin ransacked Ms. Chen's room, and found two copies of Minghui Weekly. She arrested Ms. Chen again with the excuse that “Ms. Chen's forced labor term isn't finished yet, and she reads Dafa materials at home.”
After Ms. Chen was taken back to the forced labor camp, the
guards instigated criminal inmates to monitor and persecute her.
Ms. Chen's term was unreasonably extended by a month.
Her extended term is due on March 17, 2012.
