(Minghui.org) A dozen police officers from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office and the Biguo Town Police Department broke into Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chi Ruimei’s home in Shagou Village, Biguo Town, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, at 2 p.m. on March 23, 2012. They illegally arrested both Ms. Chi and her daughter, Ms. Wang Kai.
The authorities sent three police vehicles to Ms. Chi’s home: two from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office and one from the Biguo Town Police Department. The police showed no documentation and did not wear police uniforms. They broke into Ms. Chi’s home and roughly handcuffed her. Seeing how violent the policemen were, Ms. Chi's mother, who is nearly 80 years old, was very frightened and tried to run away, but the police stopped her.
The officers ransacked Ms. Chi’s home and confiscated many of her personal belongings, including computers, printers, copy machines, Falun Gong books, MP3 players, and satellite dishes. They also took Ms. Chi’s money, as well as 1,900 yuan in cash from her mother. Ms. Chi and her daughter, Ms. Wang Kai, were then taken away. Their whereabouts are currently unknown.
A villager from Shagou Village saw the Village Committee head and two unidentified men looking for Ms. Chi’s husband around 6:30 p.m that same day. He asked the Village Committee head what they were doing, but received no reply. When he followed the three men to see for himself, the men quickened their pace and hurried off the main road.
