(Clearwisdom.net) On February 25, around 6 a.m., 13-year-old Liu Yuxin from Baoding City in Hebei Province was illegally arrested at her home by police officers together with her mother, Qi Shuying, a Falun Gong practitioner. Yuxin was detained for one day. That night she was taken home by her uncle, who had rushed to Baoding from another area. Presently, Yuxin is at home with a high fever while her mother is still locked up in prison.
Police from the Baoding City Police Department and the Wusilu Police Station participated in arresting mother and daughter. They also took a laptop, printer and other personal belongings from Yuxin's home.
Ever since Yuxin was born in 1999, because her parents practice Falun Gong, the young girl has been persecuted many times together with her parents. Her mother, Qi Shuying, is a physical education teacher at Baoding Institute. Her father, Liu Yongwang, was a section manager and chief engineer for a foreign company in Beijing.
On September 15, 2001, two-year-old Yuxin was taken away from her mother by a police officer while they stayed at their rented house in Shanghai. Her parents were taken to the police station. The police took several thousand yuan from the couple, claiming that the money would be used for Yuxin's upkeep. Later, Yuxin's grandparents took her to their home in Quyang County and the “upkeep money” was kept and spent by the Baoding City police. In December 2001, Yuxin's parents were illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor.
In 2006, Liu Yongwang was abducted by police and subsequently sentenced to eight years in prison. Today, he is still detained at the Jidong Prison in Tangshan.
When Yuxin was nine years old, on August 4, 2008, her mother was once again abducted by police in Baoding City. They were assisted by some people from her mother's workplace (Baoding Institute). The mother was detained at the detention center. Yuxin's elderly grandfather had no choice but to leave her hospitalized grandmother and take Yuxin along to several places, hoping to get her mother released. However, his efforts were in vain. On August 20, 2008, early in the morning, Yuxin followed her grandfather to the detention center to bring her mother home. Unexpectedly, a dozen people, including agents from the Beishi District 610 Office, deputy head of Qingnian Street Police Station Wei Jingchuan, Li Huanqin and Zhang Qiupo from the Baoding Institute were already waiting at the entrance to the detention center. They pushed Qi Shuying into a car and took her to the Xiaobailou brainwashing center instead of releasing her. Yuxin burst out crying as she watched her mother being taken away.
On October 7, 2011, around 8 p.m., Yuxin and her mother were at home when police officers turned off their electricity. When they opened the door to find out what was happening, the police forced their way into their home, ransacked it and once again abducted the mother to a brainwashing center.
Now Yuxin's mother has been arrested again, and the young girl does not know when she will be reunited with her parents.
