(Minghui.org) Eleven years have passed since the April 25, 1999 Appeal of Falun Gong practitioners. I would like to share several stories that demonstrate Falun Gong practitioners' consistent peaceful nature and reasoning.

An Official from the Shijiazhuang City Government Office, Hebei Province: Falun Gong Practitioners are Amazing!

Following the April 25 Appeal, an urgent meeting was called for all officials from different government offices, to make the announcement forbidding people to participate in any of the appeal activities. The officials said tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners had come to Beijing to appeal.

After that meeting one government official said, "I have a relative who serves as an armed policeman in Beijing. That day several hundred armed police were officers on duty at Zhongnanhai. At night, after the Falun Gong practitioners left, the head of the police went back to Zhongnanhai and shouted at the police officers, "Go out and take a look. The tens of thousands Falun Gong practitioners were here for one whole day and left no trash; not even a small piece of paper. But you left lunch boxes all over the place, like gangsters." People from this government office said later, "Those Falun Gong practitioners are amazing!"

A Retired High Ranking Official in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province: Why Did They Never Mention Why People Went to Beijing to Appeal?

After the April 25 Appeal in 1999, a retired director from Shijiazhuang City said to a practitioner, "They kept saying people went to Beijing, and many people were there. Let me ask you, why did they go to Beijing?"

This practitioner answered, "Officers from the Tianjin Police Department had arrested more than 40 Falun Gong practitioners and beat them, too. Practitioners asked for the release of the arrested practitioners. But the request was refused, and they were told the arrest was a command from people higher up. So, practitioners went to Beijing to appeal."

This retired official said, "No wonder! They merely said people went to Beijing. Why did they never mention why people went to Beijing? I didn't think people would go to Beijing for no reason because it takes money and time. Who would go there for no reason?"
