(Minghui.org) Five years ago, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Huang Fujun from Acheng District in Harbin City was tortured to death by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) police. His elderly parents lived in Guangxi Province and were not in good health. Mr. Huang's wife reluctantly bore the sorrow of his death alone and didn't tell her in-laws about her husband's death, fearing that they couldn't bear the pain of losing their son. In order to seek justice, she has refused to cremate her husband's remains. However, her in-laws continually ask about their son. Finally, she couldn't keep the news from them any longer and told Mr. Huang's family about his death.

In November 2011, Mr. Huang's mother, in her seventies and suffering from a rheumatic disease, accompanied her daughter and daughter-in-law to Harbin City, to view her son's remains. Her daughter-in-law took her to the 610 Office in Acheng District. A man named Wu Da of the 610 Office told them that they could see the remains as long as the proprietor of the funeral parlor in Acheng District approved. Mr. Huang's mother, sister, and wife went to the funeral parlor, which is far from the city, and asked to see his remains. But the proprietor said they had to get permission from the 610 Office. So they went back to see Wu Da. Wu said that he had to report to his supervisor, and took the opportunity to slip away.
Unfortunately, Mr. Huang's mother left Heilongjiang regrettably after a multi-day train ride from Guangxi Province to Heilongjiang Province, trying to see her son's remains.
Mr. Huang's body had been dissected, so the 610 Office would not allow his family to see his remains. His family wondered if the 610 Office was hiding something. Had they already cremated his remains without permission? Why would they not allow his family view Mr. Huang's remains?
The local 610 Office had repeatedly demanded that Mr. Huang's family agree to cremate the remains. They cajoled and threatened with offers to “offset the huge mortuary fees.” In late 2011, they used the despicable means of forcing the funeral parlor to sue Mr. Huang's family for payment.
Mr. Huang was born in Zhongshan forest, Songfengshan Town, Acheng District in Harbin City in 1963. He was honest, kind, hardworking, and willing to help others. Mr. Huang enlisted in the army and served for over ten years. He endured great hardships and was promoted to platoon leader / deputy company at the level of commander. He led dangerous military activities in Daxing'anling firefighting and rescue in 1987. After retiring from the army, he was assigned to Acheng Seed Company. After he began practicing Falun Gong, he became a better person and followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
In July 1999, the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong. Mr. Huang continued to practice Falun Gong. He was arrested and detained multiple times by the CCP police and was subjected to three years of forced labor. On July 24, 2007, Mr. Huang went to his hometown, Songfengshan Town in Acheng District, to distribute Falun Gong truth clarification materials. He was arrested by the Wang Ying, the director of Songfengshan Town Police Station. When Mr. Huang tried to jump out a window to escape from the police station that night, he broke his ankle and couldn't walk. Officers from the Songfengshan Police Station didn't offer any rescue but detained him in the Second Detention Center and later at the First Detention Center.
At the First Detention Center, Mr. Huang was brutally beaten and force fed. He was in a coma and sent to the Acheng Chinese Medicine Hospital for emergency treatment. The police shackled him to the bed. The rescue was not effective so the detention center called his family to bring a skinny and unconscious Mr. Huang home. Three days later ( November 6), Mr. Huang died at home, at the age of 44.
Mr. Huang's family was very sad after he died. His family sued the Acheng Police Department. However, his family lost the lawsuit because the court was manipulated by the CCP. His family couldn't accept the verdict so they appealed to the Harbin Intermediate People's Court but got unreasonably rejected again. Mr. Huang's wife borrowed 65,000 yuan but was deceived by her lawyer. After prolonged negotiations, finally 20,000 yuan was returned. To date, 45,000 yuan has still not yet been returned. Mr. Huang's family has sued that lawyer and is now awaiting a verdict from the court.
Huang's wife is now doing physical labor to earn money to support her daughter in school. Their life is extremely difficult.
