(Minghui.org) Mr. Yun Xiao, also known as Wang Xueming, is a Falun Dafa practitioner who founded the Fu-De-Jiang-Tang School. The school's purpose is to promote morality in Hankou City. Mr. Yun Xiao was illegally arrested by police officers from Wuhan and has been held in prison for over six months. He is currently being detained in the Wuchang Detention Center. According to recent reports, the Procuratorate in Wuchang returned the case to the Wuhan Police Department due to lack of evidence before May 1, 2012.
On October 27, 2011, the Wuhan Police Department dispatched several officers to shut down all branches of the school in Wuhan as well as in Nanchang, Wuchang, Hankou, and Maodian. Yun Xiao and some of his teachers were arrested. Yun Xiao's father was sick at the time and passed away the same day that he heard the news of Yun Xiao's arrest. Communist Party officials decided not to tell Yun Xiao about his father's death, and he was therefore not able to attend his father's funeral.
Yun was charged with “operating an illegal business,” and is still being held in detention. He was moved from Hanyang Detention Center to Wuchang District Detention Center in February 2012. The Wuhan Police Department wanted to prosecute Yun, and forwarded the case to the Wuchang Procuratorate, but the Procuratorate rejected the case due to lack of evidence. Legally, Yun should have been released at that time due to the lack of evidence, but the Wuhan Police Department continued to hold him. A report indicates that the arrest was initiated by Zhou Yongkang, and that Yun's case was to be handled as one of the most important cases in China.
Some of the teachers were arrested at the various school branches on October 27, 2011, while the rest were sent home along with the students. The school's mission was to spread traditional Chinese culture, teaching people values like compassion and righteousness, as well as how to let virtue guide one's fate. It also taught how to study in a relaxed environment, and how having a relaxed body and frame of mind will bring joy and good health, as well as excellent grades. This is a novel approach in today's China, and such a group of compassionate teachers is sorely needed to bring the emphasis back to children's health and happiness. The actions of the Communist Party officials can only bring harm to the children and their parents.
Mr. Yun was promoting the power of righteous thoughts on the Internet in a few of his many writings. In class, he was teaching students to purify their thoughts. At the time he was arrested, he was teaching at the Fu-De-Jiang-Tang in Wuhan City, and was well-respected by the community as a teacher of Chinese literature.
In December 1999, Mr. Yun went to speak to higher authorities in Beijing to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa. He was arrested and imprisoned for more than a month, and his family had to pay more than 5000 yuanto get him out. His computer and books were also confiscated. In March 2000 he was fired from his job at the Longquan Bureau of Education because would not give up practicing Falun Dafa. He was illegally imprisoned for three years, from December 2001 to December 2004, and all of his belongings were taken. When he was released from prison, the same wicked people wanted to send him to a brainwashing center. They finally dropped this idea when his family strongly objected. He has since become homeless in order to avoid further persecution.
The participants in this persecution include the State Security Bureau's Domestic Security Division in Wuhan City, the Wuhan Police Department in Huangbei District, and the Wuhan Bureau of Education in Huangbei District.
