Large parade in Shijō Kawaramachi, Kyoto, Japan, to support the 118 million people who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
The procession was headed by the Divine Land Marching Band, numbering more than 80 musicians, followed by people of all ages carrying banners to call attention to the wave of withdrawals from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The banners were worded, “Supporting 118 million people quitting the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations,” “The CCP is going to disintegrate and a new China will be born,” “Heaven disintegrates the CCP,” and, “Stop persecuting Falun Gong” in both Chinese and Japanese.
Along with the rousing performance of the band, the procession caught the attention of many people on the street. Some students cheered and many passers-by waved and clapped along with the music. Many people some took photos of the procession. Several young men got out their car and watched the parade.
Shop owners and shop keepers came out to get informational materials to read. An older couple accepted some flyers from a young practitioner and told him, “You are great! Keep it up!”
The parade lasted about two hours. One spectator walked the entire length of the procession and asked when the next march would be.
