(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 24 cities or counties in ten provinces. In this report, 31 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 50 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Jiang Qiu was an employee of the Beibei District Wares Factory. Because she sent a copy of Falun Gong materials to the factory’s union president, she was dismissed.
In early 2012, she went out to inform people about the persecution of Falun Gong. After she gave some Falun Gong materials to a traffic police officer, she was arrested and sent to the Beibei District Detention Center.

Four to five officers from the Gonghe Township Police Station and the Meilisi District Police Department broke into Ms. Li Lianzhen’s home in Shengli Village on the morning of May 24, 2012. They arrested her and her husband Mr. Li Hongqin, and confiscated Falun Gong books and many of their personal belongings, including a satellite dish, bank cards and more than 5,000 yuan in cash. Mr. Li was soon released. Ms. Li, however, was sent to the Qiqihar City First Detention Center.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Wu Shuping Arrested and Sent to the Dagao Village Brainwashing Center
He Shiqi, an agent from the Zhangwan Town 610 Office in Tongzhou, arrested Ms. Wu Shuping from Shangmatou Village and sent her to the Dagao Village Brainwashing Center on May 24, 2012.
6. [Dengta City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Xuexin Returned Home after Being Arrested by Domestic Security Division Agents
Zhang Qicheng and other agents from the Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Li Xuexin’s home on the morning of April 17, 2012. They took Falun Gong books and his computers. Mr. Li was released after 5:00 p.m. that day.
7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Ren Yulin, Ms. Chen Xiumei, and Ms. Zhao Libo
Ms. Ren Yulin, Ms. Chen Xiumei, and Ms. Zhao Libo were arrested and taken to the Xiangfang Domestic Security Division when they were posting truth-clairfying materials on the evening of May 16, 2012. Ms. Ren is currently being held in the Xiangfang Detention Center. Ms. Chen and Ms. Zhao are incarcerated in the Harbin City Second Detention Center.
8. [Pi County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Xiaolan Arrested
Ms. Li Xiaolan from Zuwapu was taken into custody in Ande Town on May 23, 2012.
9. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiuqin and Ms. Feng Aihong Arrested
On the morning of May 22, 2012, a group of officers from the Mengyin County Police Department and 610 Office, in collusion with Tanbu Town Police Station chief Wang Mingjun, broke into Ms. Wang Xiuqin’s home in Laishiwan Village and arrested her. They also ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, computers, printers, and other personal belongings. The police subsequently broke into Ms. Feng Aihong’s home, ransacked it, and took her into custody.
10. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] A Number of Practitioners Arrested
Mengyin County 610 Office agents and officers from the Duozhuang Town Police Station broke into Ms. Liu Xinglin’s home and arrested her on May 22, 2012. The same day another group of police broke into Ms. Lu Xingying’s home in Xishanjiao Village and arrested her. The two practitioners are currently being detained in the Mengyin Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Wang Faxiu, Mr. Guo Yuxiang, and Ms. Wang Zaixiang from Jiuzhai Township were arrested, and their homes were ransacked by police station officers. They are currently incarcerated in the Mengyin County Detention Center. Ms. Zhao Shengbao and Ms. Ying Ruifang from Dongpengwu Village were arrested and are being held in the Mengyin County Detention Center.
Ms. Wang Fafeng from Zhoujiagouzi Village, Mengyin Town, and Mr. Zhang Fucun from Yuezhuang Village were arrested and their homes were ransacked.

On May 26, 2012, when Mr. Zhu Zuoxin’s mother came home she found their computers and printers had been taken. She also couldn’t find her son, Mr. Zhu, and since then his whereabouts has been unknown.
23. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
Seven practitioners from a Fa-study group in Dongjiaba, Qingyang District were arrested and taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center at noon on May 25, 2012. The practitioners include Ms. Liao, who is 83 years old, Mr. Liu Yaoqing, Mr. Zhu Sulin, Mr. Wang Jiuqu, and Mr. Lin Qinghua. Ms. Liao was released the same day.
24. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Luo Chaoming and Mr. Li Xianfu Arrested and Sent to a Brainwashing Center on May 25, 2012
25. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Dan Junying Transferred to the Wutongqiao Detention Center
Leshan City police arrested more than ten practitioners around May 1, 2012 and sent them to the Dashiqiao Brainwashing Center. Ms. Dan Junying was one of the practitioners. She was transferred from the Dashiqiao Brainwashing Center to the Wutongqiao Brainwashing Center on May 15, 2012.
26. [Yuexi County, Sichuan Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Ms. Wu Shilian
Ms. Wu Shilian was arrested by officers from the Yuexi County Domestic Security Division when she was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong in Banqiao Township on May 22, 2012.
Ms. Wu's younger brother Mr. Wu Shihai had been detained and brutally tortured in the Deyang Prison. The guards blinded him by poking their fingers into his eyes. They also used pliers to pull out all his toenails. Because of the severe tortures, he was disabled and couldn’t take care of himself after he was released. Ms. Wu supported him by selling fruit.
27. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Feng Renjun Holds Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution
Mr. Feng Renjun from Xindu was arrested on April 26, 2012. He has been on a hunger strike since May 13, 2012, and is currently in very poor physical condition.
28. [Wucheng County, Shandong Province] Mr. Fang Dezeng and His Wife Arrested
Mr. Fang Dezeng and his wife from Yanzhuang Village, Tengzhuang Township were arrested at their home early on the morning of May 25, 2012 by officers from the Tengzhuang Township Police Station.
29. [Huaian City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Jingling Arrested
Ms. Wang Jingling is a retired employee of the Huaiyin Institute of Technology. She was arrested by Yugou Police Station officers when she was telling people the facts about Falun Gong in Hanyu Village, Yugou Town on the morning of May 27, 2012. Later that day she was transferred to the Huaian City Domestic Security Division. Domestic Security Division officers subsequently ransacked her home.

30. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Mr. Wang Yuexun Arrested Again
Officers from the Shuangma Town Police Station forcibly took Mr. Wang Yuexun into custody on the afternoon of May 23, 2012. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
31. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Including Mr. Xie Jinde Arrested
Mr. Xie Jinde, Ms. Liu Changmei, and Ms. Zhao Lan from Acheng District were arrested by Feiketu Town Police Station officers on the morning of May 27, 2012, and were transferred to the Acheng District Domestic Security Division after 6:00 p.m. the same day. Officials from the Domestic Security Division. Officers from the Chengbei Police Station subsequently ransacked their homes.
32. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jing Ying Arrested and Sent to Shijiazhuang Women’s Forced Labor Camp on May 25, 2012
33. [Xilinhot City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Xu Zhimin Arrested
Ms. Xu Zhimin was arrested on the afternoon of May 27, 2012. Her home was also ransacked.
34. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on the Persecution of Ms. Wang Runlan
Ms. Wang Runlan, in her sixties, was arrested by officers from Mashan Road Police Station when she was distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts CDs on the morning of March 19, 2012. Agents from the Laiyang City Domestic Security Division subsequently ransacked her home and took away many of her personal belongings, including a computer, a television, and two pictures of Master Li Hongzhi.
Ms. Wang was then sent to the Laiyang City Detention Center. She was detained for nine days and not released until the detention center officials extorted 1,200 yuan from her son.
