(Minghui.org) Since Jiang's regime started to persecute hundreds of millions of people who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials in the Tangshang area of Hebei Province have closely followed and intensively persecuted local Falun Gong practitioners. The police have made unlawful arrests without any official documentation or warrants, terrorizing formerly peaceful communities.
As people's understanding of the truth about the persecution in recent years has increased and their conscience is waking up, their will to stop the persecution is coming alive. While people's hearts are no longer susceptible to the will of the evil CCP, some police officers are acting defensively, maintaining that their arrests are legitimate and that they are simply following orders. Their arrests are increasing and their methods for capturing practitioners have became more insidious and cunning.
Lying about Installing an Alarm System and Registering a Security Status
On February 25 of this year, the police in Hebei Province initiated a large scale arrest of nearly 30 practitioners in the Tangshan Area. Mr. Li Wendong, an employee of the Transportation Department of Tangshan Area Steel and Iron Company was arrested at his home. Around 6:30 that morning, Mr. Li's wife heard someone knocking at the door. A plain-clothes female police officer said that she was there to register their security status and install an alarm system. Mr. Li's wife was in a hurry to go to work and didn't open the door, saying, “We don't need to register. Even if we lose everything, no one is going to do anything about it.” The officer pretended to knock on their neighbors' doors, and then came back to knock on their door, but they still didn't open it. The officer and her colleague hid in the vestibule and rushed in when Mr. Li's wife opened the door to go to work. The officers captured Mr. Li and his wife and confiscated her house keys.
Mr Li is very skilled in his work and is always helpful to others. People who know him all know this about him. When the officer first barged into their house, Mr. Li's wife thought that they were being robbed, so she fought back bravely and shouted out for help. They then covered her mouth. Their neighbors were very concerned and asked in astonishment, “What is this about?” The officers scolded them, “Shout again, and we'll take you too.” Everyone soon understood that these people were actually police officers.
“We Hit Your Car, Come out and Check.”
Practitioner Mr. Gao Zhaochen, an independent home remodeling businessman was also arrested on February 25 of this year. At a little past six o'clock in the morning, someone knocked on his door and said, “Car owner of 3763, come out, we hit your car.” Falun Gong practitioners are all very kind, and would not take advantage of people. So Mr. Gao replied, “It's all right, don't worry about it. You can go now.” The man continued, “We hit your car, you should call 110 (traffic police). Come down and resolve this.”
Then Mr. Gao found that several SUVs and vans without license plate filled the parking spaces both in the front and on the back of the building. Concerned that their deceit had failed, the officers spent several minutes downstairs discussing their next step. When they came back up again, they started to kick the door, threatening Mr. Gao, “Open the door now! We have followed you for half a month. You can't escape, we've contacted the fire station. We'll use the ladder to break your window if you don't open the door.” They kicked the door really hard and cut the electricity and broadband Internet from the control panel downstairs. After an hour's stalemate, Mr. Gao was arrested.
Cutting off Electricity to Get into a Practitioner's House
At around 6 o'clock on November 24, 2010, police officers from Zhengzhuangzi Township, Kaiping, Tangshan Area arrested a Falun Gong practitioner couple, Mr. Fu Wenhuai and Ms. Wu Suxiang, at Mr. Fu's home. In order to get the door open, these police dressed in plain clothes, and quietly cut off the electricity that ran into Mr. Fu's home. Mr. Fu was about to go outside to check, and right when he started to turn the door knob, six or seven police offers immediately came storming through the door.
Lying about a Water Leak
At around 3 o'clock in the afternoon on May 28, 2011, several National Security guards of Lubei arrested retired Electricity Factory employees Ms. Cao and her husband as well as their family guests at the couple's home. As they were entertaining their guests, someone started knocking on the door, saying that they lived downstairs and that the couple's home had a water leak. The police officers outside blocked the peep hole so that they could not see who was there. When the elderly couple opened the door, seven or eight officers rushed in.
Using Gum to Block the Peep Hole on the Door and Climbing a Ladder to Break in from the Window
On the morning of July 10, 2008, Chen Hong led over a dozen plain-clothes police officers from the National Security Team of the Lubei Police Department of Tangshan Area, along with those from Diaoyutai Police Station, to arrest retired Electricity Factory employees He Yixing and Zhang Yueqin. The officers blocked the peep hole on the couple's door with gum, and forcibly pried the door open. They broke the door lock but the door still didn't open. They finally ordered two fire trucks to come and used the ladders from the trucks to climb to the sixth floor, where they proceeded to break the two windows on the south and north sides and arrested the elderly couple.
