(Minghui.org) On July 6, 2012, several Falun Gong practitioners from the Dafangshen area, the Kaifa and Jinzhou District of Dalian were arrested. Reports associated the arrests with the installation of the New Tang Dynasty TV receivers.
Practitioners arrested included: Wang Yu, Xiao Yunna, Ma Ruitian, Xiao Guilan, Ma Aiying, Ma Aiya, Song Julan, Liu Qingtao and his mother (still missing), Wang Tao, Xiao Wang (and his parents), Qu Bin, Zhang Guoli, Zhu Chengqian, Wang Riqing, Xiao Che (and his wife), Xiao Chunli, Yang Shurong, Luo Jinyu (and her sister). The following arrested practitioners are from Xishan in Kaifa District: Yuan Min, Wang Chunxia, Mr. Wang Yu, Wang Guiying, Wu Jie, Wang Zairong, Li Xinying, Xin Yue, Liu Meifen, Song Caiping, Wang Shouchen, Chen Guixiang, Song Julan, Liu Qingtao, Hao Qiujing, Qu Lianxi, She Yue, Pan Xiuqing, Liu Mingfen, Liu Xiaomei, Song Ailian.
On July 6, Xiao Chunling of 532 Wanli West, Kaifa District, Dalian, was arrested by Wanli Police Station officers. At about 6:00 a.m., the officers knocked on Ms. Xiao's door, under the pretense of collecting the water fee. After they broke into the house, they started taking photos. The officers confiscated several Falun Gong books and a disc. Ms. Xiao is now being detained in the Wanli Police Station. Her husband and brother were also arrested. Ms. Xiao's relatives, along with her daughter, went to the police station to demand the unconditional release of the detainees.

On July 6 at about 7:00 a.m., practitioner Mr. Wang Shuochen received a phone call from a stranger, who stated that he wanted Mr. Wang to install a New Tang Dynasty TV receiver for him. Mr. Wang was arrested on his way to pick him up, and his car was confiscated.
On July 6 at about 8:00 a.m., practitioners Ma Ruitian and his wife Xiao Guilan from Jinzhou District were arrested at home. Their house was ransacked and their personal belongings were confiscated.
On July 6 at about 9:00 a.m., several police officers went to a practitioner's shop in Jinzhou Wanquan Electronic City and took surveillance photos.
On July 6 at about 7:00 a.m., seven to eight police officers from the Public Security Bureau of Dalian broke into practitioner Mr. Wang Yu's house and arrested him. They confiscated all of his belongings, valued at over 10,000 yuan.
On July 6 at about 10:00 a.m., several arrests of Falun Gong practitioners occurred in the Shahekou District of the Malan region. Mr. Wang Jian was arrested at his workplace. His father was also arrested at his home, which was subsequently ransacked. Undercover police officers have started monitoring their residential area since that time.
On July 6, Ms. Wang Yuzhen, over 70 years old, from the Shahekou District was arrested at home. Her house was ransacked.
On July 6, Ms. Lin, over 60 years old, from the Shahekou District was arrested at home. Passersby related that the arrest was made by police officers who used a fire truck to lift them up to the fourth floor.
On July 6, practitioner Ms. Wang Guiying, 70 years old, and her daughter Wu Jie from Shahekou District were arrested by Taoyuanjie Police Station officers.
On the afternoon of July 6, practitioners Wang Zairong, Liu Xinying, Xin Yue and four others from Zhongshan District were arrested at home by Shuyue Police Station officers of Zhongshan District.
On July 6 at about 9:30 a.m., practitioners Liu Mingfen and four others were arrested at home by Kunming Street Police Station officers. According to police station staff, the recent arrest of Falun Gong practitioners was a coordinated action launched by the Public Security Bureau of Dalian.
On July 6 at about 9:30 a.m., practitioner Liu Meifen was arrested by Kunming Police Station officers. The officers ransacked her house and confiscated her computer, color printer and truth clarification materials.
On July 6, practitioner Song Caiping from Wafangdian District, Dalian was arrested and her house was ransacked.
On July 6, a male practitioner from Malan South Street in Shahekou District was arrested while at work. Indications were that police officers entered his house prior to the arrest.
On July 6 at about 10:00 a.m., practitioner Liu Qingtao from Kaifa District was arrested at his car by a group of police officers, who also confiscated his car.
On July 6, practitioner Song Julan from Jinzhou was arrested by Guangming Police Station officers.
On July 6, Hao Qiujing, Da Luo, Xiao Luo and another practitioner (name unknown) were arrested by Huanghelu Police Station officers in Kaifa District.
On July 5 at about 3:00 p.m., police officers broke into Mr. Qu Lianxi's house and ransacked it. Mr. Qu was arrested along with practitioner Chen Guixiang, who was with him at that time.
On July 5 at about 10:00 a.m., four undercover police officers entered practitioner She Yue's office in Youhao Hotel on Taiyuan Street, Shahekou District. No one was there at that time, so they left. On their way out, they saw Mr. She, who was on his way to the market. They arrested him and confiscated his car.
On July 6, practitioner Pan Xiuqing from Dalian was arrested at home by Chunhaijie Police Station officers in Zhongshan District.
On July 6 between 3 to 4:00 p.m., practitioner Ms. Song Ailian was arrested at home by Chunhaijie Police Station officers.
On July 6, practitioner Liu Xiaomei from Quanyong Street, Shahekou District, was arrested by Kunming Street Police Station officers.
