(Minghui.org) Around 9 a.m. on July 27, 2012, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xiao Yuxia, Ms. Jiang Xuemei and Ms. Wu Qihui were illegally put on trial at the Luliang court room in the Qujin Intermediate Court of Yunnan. The practitioners pleaded not guilty with help of their two lawyers.
According to sources, over thirty special police were outside the court. Families and friends of the practitioners were not allowed to enter the courtroom. A dozen or so plain-clothes police were among the crowd outside. When family members asked why they were not allowed to enter, officers replied that they were just following orders.
During the trial, Ms. Xiao Yuxia was represented by Mao Hongwei, a lawyer from Guangdong, and Ms. Jiang Xuemei was represented by Jiang Yibin, a lawyer from Beijing. They both pleaded not guilty. These three practitioners also defended themselves. Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wu Qihui directly asked officials from the 610 Office if they would like to have good futures. She told them to stop blindly participating in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, or else they would face the consequences of heavenly law.
