(Minghui.org) I work at a large state-owned company with several other Falun Dafa practitioners. I would like to share some stories about these colleagues and how they manifest the principles of Dafa in their daily lives.
Two Honest and Upright Dining Hall Staff
Two practitioners were demoted from management positions and assigned to work as dining hall staff because they refused to give up practicing Falun Dafa. They did not involve themselves in any corruption when purchasing materials for the dining hall. They tried to save the company money while maintaining quality. Due to their great efforts, the dining hall gained a reputation for its delicious food.
During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the local 610 Office tried to pressure our company to transfer the manager (a Falun Dafa practitioner) to another unit by spreading the rumor that Falun Dafa practitioners cause problems in companies. However, the company leaders refused this unreasonable request based upon the honesty and hard work they observed. This story evoked truly positive repercussions within the company and many people began to see through the slander and lies of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
An Outstanding Technician
Another practitioner is much appreciated by his boss due to his highly professional competence. He also gained respect from other colleagues because he always considers others first. His boss gave him monthly bonuses of several hundred Chinese yuan. When the practitioner asked the boss to share his extra bonuses with others, his boss said, “You do a great job! You deserve it! I do not care about how other people feel about this.”
A Popular Administration Staff
A fellow practitioner works as an administration staff in a basic unit. As a practitioner, he always sets a high standard for himself to be a good person. He gained immense popular support from leaders and workers. In 2008, he was sent to a forced labor camp after being illegally arrested while clarifying the truth in public. His boss and some workers tried to visit him in the forced labor camp. When he was released, his boss returned him to his previous position in the company.
An Honest and Kind Manager
A practitioner in charge of technology management in the process of construction never accepted kickbacks from any construction companies. Due to his honest and kind deeds, most workers and engineers understand the truth about Falun Dafa and withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. It has become well known throughout the company that Falun Dafa practitioners are good people!
