(Minghui.org) On June 16, 2013, practitioners in Melbourne, Australia, set up posters and banners on Prince Bridge to form a “Great Wall of Courage.” It was a living testament to Dafa practitioners' uncompromising courage in the face of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) 14-year brutal campaign against Falun Gong.

Australian poet David Hallett puts his signature on a petition
David Hallett, a well-known Australian poet, stopped to listen to a practitioner clarify the truth. Even before she finished, Mr. Hallett signed the petition calling for the immediate end to the Chinese regime's practice of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.
“I thank you for everything you're doing,” he said. “I think the persecution is a disaster but the problem is, many countries do business with the Chinese regime and are reluctant to tell the regime to stop the suppression. That is why something so terrible has happened.”
Mr. Lardlar and his family were on vacation in Melbourne when they saw the Great Wall of Courage. “I believe that everyone knows that persecution and torture are wrong,” he said, “but our government doesn't do anything about it because it doesn't want to offend other governments.” He added, “This activity [that you're doing] is great because it allows people to find out what's really happening.”
The Australian Senate unanimously passed a motion on March 21, urging the government to oppose the practice of organ harvesting in China. “It's a great start, something needs to be done,” Mr. Lardlar, said, commenting on the motion.
Hannah and Ralph, a young couple, were visiting Melbourne from South Australia. After learning about the persecution, they both signed the petition. Ralph said that everyone who saw the Great Wall of Courage should support the practitioners' efforts, because the persecution was just “too brutal.”
Hannah said that it was hard for people born and raised in a democratic country to truly understand the crimes being committed by the Chinese regime against Falun Gong. Ralph thought that no one should be persecuted like that, calling the CCP's crimes against humanity, “revolting.”
Weiyao, a Chinese student from Malaysia, signed the petition because “the Chinese regime is unjust.” As a Christian, Weiyao understood the truth about the persecution and the power of belief. He also said he now realizes why Falun Dafa has continued to spread, even while being severely persecuted.
Damian Brady from St. Kilda, Scotland, was visibly upset after finding out about the persecution. He said that he only knew that Falun Gong practitioners were suffering in China but didn't know that their organs were being removed while they were still alive. “It's unbelievably cruel!” he exclaimed.
Diego, who was visiting Melbourne from Italy, expressed an interest in learning the Falun Dafa exercises and made arrangements with the practitioners to meet at an exercise site at the weekend.
