(Minghui.org) Police officers from Meicheng Township in Anhua County, Yiyang Region, Hunan Province illegally broke into and ransacked a number of homes of practitioners at around 6:00 a.m. on May 17, 2013. Mr. Xiao Guoan, Ms. Li Naying, Ms. Pan Xiaoe, and Ms. Tian Fumei were arrested and taken to the Anhua County Detention Center.
Arrests Planned in April
Officials from the Meicheng Township Political and Legal Affairs Committee and 610 Office met to plan this action as early as late April 2013. Police officers from the Meicheng Township went to practitioner Ms. Fang Xiaozhen's home in late April 2013, in an attempt to arrest her. They monitored her from the street in front of her house, and were planning on arresting her as soon as she showed up.
Among the four practitioners arrested, Mr. Xiao, in his forties, was an honest house painter and decorator. He was arrested in 2002 and detained at the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp. After being released from the labor camp in 2003, he revealed the truth on how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, and this caused the police to attempt to arrest him again. Mr. Xiao left his hometown in order to avoid persecution. He often spent the nights alone in the forest and ate wild berries and plants to sustain himself. The police chased him for as long as a year. Mr. Xiao's mother Ms. Dai Shuzhen, also a practitioner, was often harassed by the police and had no peace in her life. Ms. Dai suffered tremendously mentally, and passed away in May 2006.
Ms. Li Naying, in her sixties, is a kind and honest housewife.
Ms. Pan Xiaoe, in her seventies, is a warm and friendly person. The local residents call her “Mother Pan.” She was arrested on June 6, 2009, and taken to the Anhua County Detention Center.
Ms. Tian Fumei, in her sixties, is a retired teacher from the Anhua County No. 1 Middle School. She was arrested on June 6, 2009, and taken to the Anhua County Detention Center.
Police officers from Meicheng Township did not listen to practitioners, ignored the miraculous effects that Dafa had brought to them, in healing and keeping fit, and did not awaken to the fact that police officers around them who participated in the persecution against Falun Gong had received karmic retribution. They mercilessly persecuted practitioners in recent years and committed countless crimes.
Twenty Practitioners Arrested and Their Homes Ransacked
More than ten police officers from the Meicheng Township Police Station shut off the power to Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Jingqing's home in the Commercial District at around 9:00 p.m. on June 6, 2009. They then tricked her into opening the door and arrested twenty practitioners while they were sharing experiences at Ms. Xiao's home. Though the practitioners, who were in their seventies and older, were released the next day, their homes were ransacked at the same time.
Thirteen Dafa practitioners were subsequently taken to the Anhua County Detention Center. They included Mr. Li Mengxian (teacher), Mr. Long Dingquan (manager of an appliance store), Ms. Pan Xiaoe, Ms. Long Ximei, Ms. Tian Fumei (retired teacher), Mr. Chen Yuejin (teacher), Mr. Ning Zhengjun (teacher at the No. 1 Middle School), and Ms. Xiao Jingqing. These practitioners' homes were ransacked, and their personal belongings, including three computers, printers, and Dafa books, were confiscated. Mr. Chen, Mr. Ning, Ms. Xiao, Ms. Long, and Mr. Guo Xihua were later illegally sentenced to one year, one year and three months, and one and a half years of forced labor, respectively. Mr. Li's spirit was crushed and he became ill. His back began to fester and his body became swollen. He eventually passed away on June 9, 2011. Mr. Long also suffered mentally and grew very weak after being released. Many lumps appeared on his body and they soon festered. He lost weight rapidly and became extremely emaciated. Mr. Long passed away on October 17, 2011.
These innocent citizens have followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and strived to be good people, yet they were subjected to physical and mental torture, persecuted by the CCP, and forced to live in fear. After practitioners passed away as a result of the persecution, the CCP officials continued to fabricate slanderous stories about them, and poison the minds of the people. Their actions will likely bring heavenly retribution. Those who show no signs of regret and continue to do evil deeds will not be able to escape their karmic retribution.
