(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners were released when the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp “shut down” in 2013. The sign on the building now reads “Masanjia Drug Rehabilitation Center.” However, Falun Gong practitioners continue to be detained and tortured there. Several practitioners, including Ms. Chi Xiuhua, were recently transferred to the Second Team of the women's ward of this “drug rehabilitation” center.
Ms. Chi is from Xinbin County in Fushun City, Liaoning Province. She was illegally arrested on the morning of April 15, 2012, and sentenced to a four-year prison term. She was taken to Liaoning Women's Prison in November 2013, and held in the Third Team of the Third Ward of the prison.
When Ms. Chi's family went to visit her on December 10, 2013, they were separated by a glass barrier, and had to use a telephone to talk with each other. Ms. Chi was monitored by two guards and forbidden to talk about “sensitive” topics. When her family wanted to know about her situation, the phone was immediately cut off.
According to Ms. Chi's family, she looked distraught and pale, and her voice was weak. They are very worried about her condition.
Within a month after their visit, Ms. Chi's family was told that she had been transferred to the Second Team of the Masanjia Drug Rehabilitation Center.
We hope that people will pay close attention to the Masanjia Drug Rehabilitation Center, and expose all the crimes taking place there.
