(Minghui.org) Mr. Liang Bo, a Falun Gong practitioner in Beijing, was put in prison for three and a half years for his belief. By December 12, 2013, Mr. Liang had been home just 36 days.
Without a direct order, Yi Shuangjiu and Xiao Jianguo, and two officers from the Qinghe Police Station in the Haidian District of Beijing, went to Mr. Liang's home to harass him. They wanted to make Mr. Liang help them follow up on other released prisoners.
Yi and Xiao abused their power by persecuting Mr. Liang and violated the human rights of Mr. Liang and his family. For these reasons Mr. Liang filed a complaint with the police and government agencies.

Content of Complaint: The respondents abused their power, broke into the complainant's home, and violated the complainant's and his mother's basic rights.
Facts:
I heard a knock on my front door at 11:21 a.m. on December 12, 2013. When my mother asked who it was, someone shouted, “Open the door!” My mother opened the door and saw two strangers in police uniform. She was very surprised and was about to ask what this was about, when they shouted “Police,” pushed her aside, and forced their way into my home. My mother was terrified and almost fell down.
I was on the phone when I saw them force their way into my home. Before I could hang up, officer A sat down on my living room sofa, crossed his legs, and threw his hat on the sofa. He picked up an item on the sofa and played with it while officer B sat down on another couch. I asked them why they had barged in and were harassing my mother and me. Officer A said that it was their job and told me to work with them.
My mother asked if it was normal police procedure to harass them like this. Officer A waved his arms and shouted at my mother, “Don't talk!” I said, “This is my mother. She has every right to speak in my home.” He realized that it was inappropriate for him to talk like that, but he still said, “I thought she was just another relative.” I said, “This is my home. No matter who you are, you cannot force yourselves into my home, nor can you forbid my family member from talking.”
The officers lingered in my house for approximately eight minutes. They didn't produce any identity cards or legal documents. They just talked about whatever they wanted to during that time.
They threatened us when they left at 11:29 a.m., saying “We'll come back in the future.” I met officer A years ago and recalled that his name was Yi Shuangjiu. I learned from the conversation that officer B's name was Xiao Jianguo, and he was in charge of the community where I live.
My mother is nearly 70 and suffers from breast cancer. She just had chemotherapy recently and was weak. What Yi Shuangjiu and Xiao Jianguo did insulted and irritated her. She had an elevated heart rate and shivered. She lay in bed and could not calm down for a long time after they left.
I believe that Yi Shuangjiu and Xiao Jianguo abused their power and violated the law. They should be punished for breaking into a citizen's home and intimidating the homeowner. I hope this issue can be addressed in a timely manner and I expect to be informed of the outcome in writing.
