(Minghui.org) Brainwashing is routinely deployed by the communist regime in China to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their faith. Ms. Huang Qiuzhen, a Falun Gong practitioner from Xianning City, Hubei Province, was arrested by the local police and taken directly to a brainwashing center of the Xianning Forced Labor Camp on November 7, 2013.
Ms. Huang had just left home for work at 8 a.m. when four agents approached her. One of them asked if they could search her home, but Ms. Huang refused. They said nothing more and took Ms. Huang into custody. Among those carrying out the arrest were Zhang Huilong, deputy head of the Chalukou Police Station, and Zou Yu from the Xianning Police Department.
Later that morning, the police confiscated Ms. Huang's keys and entered her home. They pried open all of the drawers and turned the house upside down. They took valuable items, including computers.
Ms. Huang's mother-in-law, in her 80s, returned home just as the police were ransacking the place. She managed to take back the computer.
Ms. Huang has been incarcerated in the brainwashing center of the Xianning Forced Labor Camp. Yao Xiong, an agent of the Xianning 610 Office, is the head of the brainwashing center. A woman with surname Gong specializes in deceiving Falun Gong practitioners there. A man with surname Liu is in charge of torturing practitioners.
Practitioners in the brainwashing center are forced to watch videos slandering Falun Gong and write a guarantee statement to renounce their belief. For each practitioner who renounces Falun Gong, Gong and Liu are paid 20,000 yuan.
