Global Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) joined the annual Flushing Chinatown Chinese New Year parade on February 8, 2014.
Led by a beautifully decorated float, the service center's procession included a waist drum squadron and a lion dance team.
Mr. and Mrs. Chen, 30-year residents in Flushing, gave the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP a thumbs-up. They commented, “Some 'sensitive' contents are also in the parade!”
Ms. Zheng has been living in the States for four years. She saw the waist drum performance, which she said reminded her of her hometown in Sichuan. She was very happy to see the parade for the first time.
Residents in Flushing are not strangers to the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP. The center has five locations in the city. Volunteers are on-site to help fellow Chinese every day.
According to Michael from the service center, over 157 million Chinese have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations to date.
The CCP has been systematically destroying Chinese traditional culture in the past decades. The Global Service Center helps people eliminate the mental and cultural control of the CCP.
