(Minghui.org) 522 people in Tangshan, Hebei Province signed a recent petition demanding that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) stop persecuting Falun Gong. The petition, titled, “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong,” read: “Former CCP ringleader Jiang Zemin initiated the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999. It not only persecutes hundreds of thousands of innocent people, but also creates terror among the public. Due to CCP's information blockade, the facts that have been reported about the persecution are just the tip of the iceberg. Please sign the petition to show your kindness and work together for a better future.”

A resident who signed the petition said, “The CCP is so bad. Falun Gong practitioners are good people. How can they be persecuted? The persecution is inhumane.” Others nearby agreed and signed as well.
Another person said, “Some of my family members practice Falun Gong and are persecuted miserably. I strongly support your efforts to stop the persecution.”
Nowadays more and more Chinese people have the courage to show their support for Falun Gong and no longer believe the Party's vicious propaganda. The Party has been brutally persecuting and defaming Falun Gong practitioners for 15 years. As a result of Falun Gong practitioners' efforts to raise awareness and the spread of the Nine Commentaries on Communist Party , more and more Chinese people have learned the true situation and have denounced the CCP. So far, 160 million people have withdrawn their memberships to the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
The CCP's mind control and terror tactics no longer have such a stronghold on the public. Chinese people nowadays are expressing their dissatisfaction with the Party via various means, such as petitions like this one demanding an end to the persecution of Falun Gong.
