(Minghui.org) Shijiazhuang City police recently falsified charges and submitted seven Falun Gong practitioners' cases to the Procuratorate for prosecution and sentencing. The practitioners' families have hired lawyers.
Agents from the Shijiazhuang City Domestic Security Division, the State Security Bureau, and the 610 Office attempted to arrest over 20 practitioners and ransack their homes on the morning of November 15, 2013, after monitoring them, tapping their phones, and making surprise visits over several months. They then put together trumped up charges to arrest more practitioners. Over 40 in total were arrested or harassed.
Arrest warrants were issued for Mr. Yang Huizhou and six other practitioners. Mr. Chen Tiankui is being held in the Shijiazhuang No.1 Detention Center. Mr. Yang Huizhou, Ms. Yan Ruimin, Mr. Zhang Yingtong, Mr. Li Yuxin, and Ms. Tian Shumei are being held in the Shijiazhuang City No.2 Detention Center. Mr. Wang Xiaofeng was released on bail.
The arrests were carried out by the 11.15 Special Group, which reported to the Shijiazhuang Political and Legal Affairs Committee and was under direct control of Zhou Benshun, who is Zhou Yongkang's trusted aide and the Party Secretary of Hebei Province. Members of the group include Li Xinle, deputy director of the Shijiazhuang City Police Department; Sun Huilong, chief of the Domestic Security Division; and agents from the Qiaoxi District justice system and Changan District justice system.
Officers from the Shijiazhuang City Police Department and its branches in the Qiaoxi and Changan districts falsified charges and submitted seven practitioners' cases to the Qiaoxi District Procuratorate and the Changan District Procuratorate.
