(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners participated in the 2014 Calgary Health Show, the largest outdoor health show in Alberta Province, Canada, at Stampede Park BMO Center on March 22 and 23, 2014. About 15,000 visitors attended the event.
Practitioners introduce Falun Gong at the 2014 Calgary Health Show in Canada on March 22 and 23, 2014.
The soothing exercise music and practitioners' bright yellow T-shirts helped their booth to stand out with its simplicity and peaceful energy.
Those who heard about Falun Gong for the first time were delighted to find out about its tremendous healing effects and showed great interest in learning to practice the exercises. Many people stopped to watch the exercise demonstration and took informational materials.
People who had previously learned about Falun Gong came over to show their respect and support of practitioners' persistent efforts to raise awareness of and call for an end to the persecution.
A Delight for All Ages
Many visitors lingered near practitioners' booth, drawn by the calming exercise music. A young father stopped by with his baby. He gently rocked the baby stroller and told a practitioner that the energy was so good that his baby felt very comfortable.
Beautiful handmade paper lotus flowers with attached bookmarks imprinted with the words “Falun Dafa is good” and “The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” displayed on the table were popular and in demand among people of all ages.
“I'm Very Supportive of What You've Done!”
A young man told a practitioner that he lives in the building opposite the Chinese Consulate in Calgary. He has seen Falun Gong practitioners protesting the persecution outside the consulate for years. He made a special visit today to the booth to obtain more information regarding the persecution and the forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in China.
After getting answers to his questions, he told a practitioner, “I've very supportive of what you've done!” and signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.
