(Minghui.org) The annual World Tai Chi and Qigong Day event attracted about 200 qigong enthusiasts to the lawn of the Asian American Resource Center in Austin on April 26, 2014. Local Falun Gong practitioners were invited to demonstrate the exercises as a part of the closing events. Many attendees commented on the practitioners' strong energy field.

Many people are interested in Asian culture and qigong exercises in Austin, the capital of Texas. The annual event is an occasion for practitioners of different exercises and schools to demonstrate their exercises and share their understandings.
This is the first time Falun Gong practitioners have participated in the event. Other attendees gave them warm applause and took many introductory materials after the demonstration.
Many attendees commented about the strong energy when the Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated their exercises. One of them was Korean martial arts master Mr. Wonik Yi, the teacher of Mr. Vance Cobalis, who organized the event and who has practiced martial arts for 40 years. Mr. Yi was curious and asked many questions about Falun Gong. He said he would do more research about Falun Gong.
