When I was two-and-a-half months old, my parents brought me to a famous eye hospital, and the doctor said my eyes had developed well enough, but a congenital disease was preventing me from seeing, and it was not treatable.
Nothing doctors tried helped my condition, and I had to spend a lot of time in hospitals. In my earliest memories, I could only see small slivers of objects, and I felt something blocking my eyes.
Because I could not see my rice bowl while eating, my mom had to help me. I unintentionally stepped on and killed the chickens my mom was raising, and my mom stopped raising chickens.
When I grew up and got married, my situation became even more complicated. I developed gynecological diseases and had to take a lot of medicine. Sometimes, the bleeding was so bad that I had to have blood transfusions.
My life was very difficult until the winter of 1998, and then my sister-in-law introduced me to the practice of Falun Dafa. I went to a neighbor's house where they held group study sessions and read the primary book of the practice, Zhuan Falun.
I really enjoyed listening to them study the book and decided to start practicing that day. I started going to group study sessions every night.
One night, three months later, practitioners went out into the yard after group study was over. One practitioner said, “It is such a nice night.”
I looked up and saw all the stars in the sky. My vision was restored!
I was so happy and told my fellow practitioners that I had seen the stars for the first time. Everyone was sharing in my joy!
When I returned home, I told my husband that I had seen the stars, but he didn't believe me. I was too excited that night to sleep. The next morning, I told my husband again that I could see stars. He still didn't believe me, and he threw a dime on the floor to test whether I could see it.
I picked it up, and he threw one more, and then I picked it up too. He stopped doubting.
I could see green leaves and white flowers...everything looked so fresh! With my restored vision, I learned to make clothes, blankets, and shoes as well. When a needle fell on a floor, I could pick it up and had no problem threading a needle.
I was so happy that my sister-in-law did not need to toil away to help make clothing for my family anymore. And, not only could I see things, I didn't feel any discomfort in my eyes anymore. Furthermore, my gynecological diseases also disappeared.
I no longer suffered from those afflictions...I am so happy! Falun Dafa is truly miraculous!
When the 1999 Chinese New Year came, my husband said: “We didn't spend a penny on medicine this winter,” and he wanted to buy me new clothes.
My face had been sickly and yellowish, and now it is rosy. I and all who are around me will forever remember what Falun Dafa has done for me.
