(Minghui.org) Three locals in Matuodian Township, Changli County, Hebei Province, were arrested for calling for a fellow villager’s release.
Ms. Wang Shaoping was arrested on August 6, 2017, for talking to people about the Chinese communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Four of Ms. Wang’s neighbors agreed to be interviewed on camera and make a public call for her release. Three of them--He Yongjiang, He Xide, and Li Guoxing--were taken into custody on December 18.
The police also arrested four Falun Gong practitioners--He Yongfang, Li Yanjun, Wang Xiuhua, and Li Dongyun--on the same night.
The homes of He Yongjiang and Li Yanjun were ransacked.
