(Minghui.org) Four recent events were held by Falun Gong practitioners in Europe and the United States to raise awareness of the persecution and tell people about the goodness of Falun Gong.
Athens, Greece
Practitioners from Greece assembled at Syntagma Square on December 2.
Many people signed the petition that condemns the state-sanctioned organ harvesting in China, and some learned the exercises.
One young man said to a practitioner that he had read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong. “I know about Falun Gong,” he said, “ and I think the founder of Falun Gong is the greatest master in history. I tried the exercises before but stopped for various reasons. Today, seeing your exercise demonstration, I think I should resume.”
Many people asked practitioners why the communist party persecutes Falun Gong. One local gentleman asked why his Chinese friends do not want to talk about Falun Gong with him.
Practitioners told him about the systematic brainwashing in China. “Most of the information channels are blocked, and people are bombarded by the government's propaganda.”
Paris, France
Practitioners from Paris have held events in front of the Eiffel Tower regularly for many years. More and more Chinese tourists have learned from them what Falun Gong really is and sharing their own thoughts.
Chinese tourists study the Falun Gong information.
A few days ago, an older Chinese gentleman said to practitioner Ms. Zhang: “We all know that Falun Gong is great. We just don't have the courage to say it in China. Very few people have a negative attitude towards Falun Gong now. Many people criticize the communist party's persecution policy. Unfortunately, everybody is being watched, even on social media. I envy the freedom you enjoy overseas.”
He thanked Ms. Zhang for her and her friends' efforts to let people know the truth.
Another day, a young Chinese man cursed at practitioner Ms. Sun, who tried to give him a Falun Gong flyer. Ms. Sun patiently explained to him why she was doing it and how brutal the persecution is.
Another Chinese tourist said, “I believe good meets with good, and evil meets with evil. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great. You are so nice, even when people curse at you.”
He and several other tourists agreed to quit the communist party with Ms. Sun's help.
Los Angeles, U.S.
In the last few months, practitioners from Los Angeles have held multiple events in Chinese communities.

Holding banners on Garvey Ave and South Garfield Ave in the city of Monterey Park
Besides the group exercises, practitioners held up banners on busy streets, telling people about the persecution and the lawsuits against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution.
Mr. Shi from Monterey Park passed by the practitioners' banners. He told practitioners that he is a retired Chinese army official, and he knows about the persecution very well.
“So many people died due to the persecution. It is really evil,” the former Chinese military officer said, “the communist party is an evil cult. It has brought numerous disasters to China and has led the nation in a wrong direction. The state-sanctioned organ harvesting is shocking. The party is worse than Hitler. Nothing is worse than them.”
Mr. Shi praised the practitioners for their efforts and peaceful resistance.
“I admire you. People need belief. The belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great!” he said.
Virginia, U.S.
After Thanksgiving, practitioners from Virginia participated in the holiday parade in Reston on November 24.
The Tian Guo Marching Band, consisting of 150 Falun Gong practitioners, performed in this 27-year-old parade, which was ranked as one of the 10 best holiday parades in the U.S. by USA Today.
This was the first time for practitioners to perform in this parade, and they were very well received.
