(Minghui.org) I was on a bus going back to my hometown this past March, and took the opportunity to tell people about Falun Gong and the persecution.
There were not many passengers on the bus at first, until people from a connecting bus boarded. I gave everyone a flyer containing information about Falun Gong as they got on. Once they were settled in their seats, I began to talk to them.
“Good afternoon everyone!” I said. “What a wonderful opportunity I have here today to speak to you all. I would like to tell you about Falun Gong. As practitioners, we follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in our daily lives. Our goal is to improve ourselves and be good people. We've experienced improvement in our health and now understand the purpose of our lives.”
I told them how the Chinese Communist Party has propagated lies, including the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation, in an attempt to justify the persecution.
“But have you seen what is happening now?” I asked. “Many high ranking officials, such as Zhou Yongkang, Bo Xilai, Xu Caihou, Guo Boxiong and Li Dongsheng have been arrested. We believe that these former officials are now receiving retribution for their role in persecuting Falun Gong.”
A male passenger on the bus stood up and interrupted me. “That's correct!” he said. “Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. I was put in a detention center for being involved in a fight, and was detained with a number of Falun Gong practitioners. I was the prisoner leader and the guards told me to beat the practitioners. I refused and told them – 'No! Who would do such a thing nowadays!' The guards, too, no longer beat the practitioners.”
This passenger then said to me, “If you give me your remaining flyers, I will distribute them for you.”
The passengers read the flyers I gave them, and even the bus driver asked me for one!
