(Minghui.org) At Jilin Women's Prison, criminal inmates and felons are ordered to torture Falun Gong practitioners at will.

The inmates are assigned to monitor Falun Gong practitioners for refusing to give up their belief. When practitioners refuse to comply with their orders, the inmates verbally abuse, beat and torture them, including those in their 60s or 70s.

The inmates who are given such assignments earn points toward early release. Family members of these inmates bribe the guards with gifts and money, who would then cover up for any crimes committed by the inmates against practitioners.

Li Jing, Tian Yulan and Wang Qingwen are inmates from Ward 8. The two Falun Gong practitioners they are assigned to monitor, both in their 70s, are often forced to stand for extended periods of time in a corner inside a restroom.

Three other inmates from Ward 8, Xu Ying, Wang Yinjuan and Gong Cuijie, force practitioners to sit on a small stool for more than 12 hours, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The practitioners must put their hands on their knees, keep their legs close together, and keep their bodies upright.

Li Minghua, a prison guard, often collaborates with inmates in the mistreatment of practitioners. In addition to being beaten and verbally abused, practitioners are not allowed to take a shower or groom themselves for up to two months. A practitioner in her 60s was made to stand for an entire day.

Other forms of torture used by the inmates against the practitioners include denial of restroom use, solitary confinement, and force-feeding.
