(Minghui.org) Three residents of Changsha City, Hunan Province, were sentenced to prison in 2019 for practicing Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Mr. Peng Songwei, 71, was arrested on August 7, 2018, at Changsha Train Station while sending information to people's cellphones about quitting the communist regime.
The police ransacked Mr. Songwei's residences in both Changsha and Hengyang, another city in Hunan about 120 miles from Changsha.
It was recently confirmed by Minghui.org that Mr. Songwei was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Ms. Liu Chunxia was arrested in late November 2018 for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was sentenced to one year in prison and transferred from Changsha City No. 4 Detention Center to Hunan Province Women's Prison in July 2019.
Ms. Tang Min was arrested on May 13, 2018. She was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison earlier this year and has been sent to Hunan Province Women's Prison.
