(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to give a presentation at the Educational Villa Exhibition 2019 (EVEX 2019). The event was hosted by a Malaysian high school on March 2. About 800 students learned Falun Dafa exercises, and the feedback was very positive.

The school that hosted the event, Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) Parit, is one of the boarding schools created by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), a government agency that helps Malays and other indigenous Malaysian people with their vocational and business goals. EVEX 2019 was part of a series of events celebrating the 53rd anniversary of MARA's establishment. The half-day event was attended by many government agencies and educational organizations. Falun Dafa was the only meditation group to participate in the event.

Shoulder Problem Disappeared

Although the students only learned two sets of exercises, many of them were impressed by the stress-relieving results. Students Arissa and Zuhayra said they felt refreshed after doing the exercises.

“It was wonderful! The music was so calming. I did not feel tired at all,” Arissa said.

“It was like fresh air to us,” Zuhayra added.

Another student, Natasha, had an especially remarkable experience. “I fell down last year and have suffered from shoulder pain since. But now, after learning these exercises, the pain is gone and I feel perfect!” Natasha said excitedly, while moving her arm around to show the others.

Natasha's friend Nabila said, “I think we should tell everyone in Malaysia about this meditation so that more people could have a chance to try it.”

Natasha and Nabila were saddened to learn that this peaceful practice is brutally persecuted in China and that unlawfully imprisoned practitioners are being killed for their organs by the communist regime.

Heart of Kindness

Yoshinee says practicing Falun Dafa will help improve society.

Yoshinee said she was feeling grateful and relaxed from the exercises. “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance--these three words are profound and powerful. They teach someone to be honest, kind, and forgiving. To me, it is a process towards having a heart of kindness,” she said.

“The suppression in China is horrible,” Yoshinee said. “I consider forced organ harvesting unacceptable. If we all stand side by side, we may end it soon,” she said.

Positive Attitude

Muhammad Nur Syamil said he had been in a bad mood earlier that morning, because someone had bullied him. “I was feeling sad and angry, but after learning these exercises, all these negative thoughts vanished. I feel good, positive and clear-minded.”

He said it was wrong for the Communist Party to suppress Falun Gong in China. “Jiang Zemin [former Communist Party leader] and the Party have killed many innocent people. Falun Gong has nothing wrong [with it] and we should all be able to practice it,” he said.

Relieving Stress

Appreciation certificate from the school principal presented to the practitioners.

The principal of the school came to the Falun Dafa booth to present a certificate thanking the practitioners for their contribution to the event. He said the exercise demonstration went very well and provided an opportunity for students to improve their minds and bodies.

Azlina hopes more students will learn the Falun Gong meditation.

Azlina, a teacher who coordinated the exhibition, agreed with the principal. “I could tell many students were very interested. The practice seems to reduce stress and enhance their perseverance. They also became calmer and more alert.”

Supporting the Innocent

Students sign a petition to stop the forced organ harvesting in China.

Nurul Hanna, a student teacher who helped organize the exhibition, told the practitioners that she hoped they would come back in the future.

Appalled by the organ harvesting atrocities, she said, “Now I understand why you have signature drive activities for it. We are all human beings and we cannot allow such a tragedy to continue.”

“As Malaysians, we support the innocent,” she said.
